"Serena Williams! It always had been her...always! The first woman, ever to hold Kian's interest, not even me...she left him and he searched for her everywhere. "

It was for the very first time, Tinsley was listening to this story. And her ears were bleeding from hearing it.

"He could not love again after her. I left when they were together because there was no chance someone could get in between them."

Thea continued. Tinsley could not part her eyes from her husband admiring another woman for the very first time in front of her.

"Well, it's too late now!"

"It's never too late to rekindle your love!"

Valeria was stressed and Kian fumed inside not knowing how to react to that statement.

"I have a wife now!"

He said and got out of the room. He saw Serena and strode towards her, held her hand and turned her around secretly.

"Come with me now!"

He pulled her away towards the secluded space of the mansion as Tinsley stood in the corner, watching them.

Tinsley saw them walking away and even though she wanted to follow them, stop her husband, she did not.

She remained static on her feet, on her spot and waited if her husband would actually bother coming back to her on his own.

He locked himself and Serena inside one of the many guestrooms.

"Why are you here??"

Kian was quick to question, the moment he closed the door behind them. He did not want anybody to see them.

"I told you, I m here to see you!"

Serena answered, with a smooth smile and if before that smile made him crazy, not anymore. It made him irritated.

"Why??"

Kian pressed. He knew what was going to happen if Tinsley found out. Truth to be told, he was afraid for the first time in his life to be caught in a lie.

He had portrayed himself to be this perfect husband in front of her and now that a woman from his past was here, about whom he never mentioned to his wife or rather lied in a straight face that such woman never existed in his life was making him feel sick.

"Why are you getting so hyper about this??? Are you not happy to see me??"

Serena implored and Kian rolled his eyes at her. He did not know how to react after seeing the woman about whom he had thought all day and night...not recently though.

"I m married, Serena!"

He frustratedly spat out and waited for Serena to give a reaction. He had no clue why after all these years...when he was finally content with his wife, she had to show up?

"I know! I heard about it!"

When she spoke so calmly about it, it disturbed him a little, to think that she was not affected by the news of him being married.

And at that moment, he realized that he did not feel that rush either...the one which he used to feel before around her.

Maybe they both felt out of it all these years?? And as much as he was panicked to see her here before Tinsley could find out, he did not feel anything else anymore.

"I heard she is really pretty! A redhead!"

Serena smiled and Kian could not help the small grin on his face when he thought about the red heard part.

It made him remember of the times when they were happy in the initial months of their marriage when there was a time, he could not go a single night without having her...the number of times, he would joke about her red hairs.

"She is...very beautiful indeed!"

He concluded and Serena noticed that he was falling for his wife even without him knowing about it.

His mind had strictly forbidden of him ever falling for a woman but could his heart remain calibrated?

"I would like to meet her! Hope you do not mind!"

"Actually, I would love that too!"

Kian said after a while. It was as if after those long year's without closure when she had disappeared, this was the closure to their relationship.

Soon right after, Kian and Serena made their way back into the party hall. His eyes searched for his wife amongst the crowd and saw her near the bar.

Tinsley had been drinking ever since she saw what she had seen. Madison and Lana tried to talk her back but it was useless.

She had seen her husband accompany a fucking woman inside one of those guest rooms and she could not even do anything about it.

That was her life now and she was drinking away in sorrow, self-pity and hurt...the deep ache, the stupid love was causing her of.

"Tinsley?"

She tilted her head to see him and her. Her eyes racked up and down, taking in Serena's view close up.

She was a thick woman, unlike her who was so thin and almost had no curves like Serena and it made her more furious as to knowing that men loved curvacious women.

"Meet Serena Williams...Serena this is my wife, Tinsley Randall!"

Kian introduced both the women, with a charming smile on his face. Serena extended her hand towards Tinsley for a handshake.

"I have heard a lot about you! It's really nice to finally meet you!"

Tinsley just kept staring at her with straight eyes, not responding at all. Serena awkwardly looked back at Kian and Tinsley followed her gaze.

It was then out of being furious, she shook Serena's hand hard and glared at her.

"I hope you two had fun fucking each other's brain!"

Tinsley fumed and narrowed her eyes at Kian before thrashing her way out of there.

Kian excused himself and followed his wife. She was about to lock the room when Kian forcefully pushed inside.

"What the hell was that??"

Kian angrily let out. There were guests near the bar who heard her. But Tinsley cared so less at that moment. She did not care about anything at all.

She kicked off her heels and then started to unzip her dress. She was struggling to get out of it.

She had had enough of this nonsense party. She just wanted to the blackout of everything.

Kian groaned under his breath and walked forward to help her out of the dress. She was ignoring his presence intentionally in the room.

"Let me, please!"

Kian requested when she struggled under him, not wanting to let him touch her body or even get nearby.

After a long tug of war, she finally let go and he unzipped her dress slowly peeling it off her body.

She stepped out of it, standing in all her naked glory, wearing just the jewellery he wanted her to see in later.

She glared at him and made her way inside the bathroom. Kian cursed under his breath for getting turned on by the sight before her.

He followed her inside the bathroom just when she was getting ready to step inside the bathtub.

"Listen...you have some wrong impression about what happened..."

Kian started, trying to at least make her understand. He did not want then to be fighting over a matter which really did not mean anything to him.

For so long, he had wondered about Serena, how she had been, what would have happened if they met again but tonight, on seeing her here, he did not feel any of those things.

All he felt was the fear that Tinsley would come to know things and that might disrupt their relationship.

"We had a past but it means nothing to me now... it's over, Tinsley. It had been over for a long time and I do not even know how come she is here but I assure you nothing happened in between us behind those closed doors..."

Kian concluded. Tinsley did not respond and continued to give him the straight ignorant face. She could not get over the scene in her head where he was eyeing that woman so admiringly.

She just could not get that out of her damn head and it was eating her from inside.

"You have to believe me!!! I meant no harm..."

"Did you believe me when I said I meant no harm??"

Tinsley spat and it astonished Kian a little bit. He had never seen her so wrecked and in anger before.

"Did you take it easy on me??"

She asked him, her chest heaving up and down with extreme fury. Even though the view before him was extremely disturbing, he tried to maintain his composure.

"Then why should I believe you?? No...no!!! Why do I even care about if you did something or not??

What is even left of this marriage that was forced upon you??

Isn't it?? I could just go have anyone else and free you from this misery!!"

And that was it. It hit Kian straight where she aimed at. He strode towards her and pulled her naked body to his clothed ones, despite her screams and struggles.
