THE CEO AND ME!

Kian had to go back to a business trip to Asia right after they had got home and it turned her mood sour tight away.

But work was work and this was the part of the life...the reality she hated or was hesitant to face it.

She rubbed her flat belly, smiling to herself. She had taken a test a few days ago and it had popped positive.

It was an unplanned one yet she loved the feel of a sweet creation they had both made together with so much love and passion for each other.

Tinsley could not sleep straight nor eat after the face time with Kian.

He had not bothered to call her or text after and it had been five hours since.

She rolled around on the king-sized bed, wondering what might have had happened for him to hang up the call just like that?

In the meantime, Kian packed his bags and got out of the suite. His guards waited outside and picked the bags off from him and kept them in the trunk of the Mercedes.

Soon he reached the private airport, where his jet was waiting and the pilot was all ready and set to fly off.

Tinsley continuously kept checking her phone and thought about so many different possibilities in her mind.

What could have had gone the wrong for him to suddenly to just hang up on her??

And in a few minutes later, her phone vibrated, dropping a notification that he was home.

Their both phones were connected to each other, letting each other know where they were.

It was his gift to her on their honeymoon to keep her safer and protected due to the sudden rise in his fame now.

She got out of the bed and wore her night coat over her nighty, walking out of the bedroom and making her way down the stairs to the living room.

And as the clock stroke ten in the night, the doorbell rang on. It made Tinsley to be in alert mode.

The live-in maid came to the living room and looked at Tinsley, asking for her permission if she should answer the door or not.

The person was let into the mansion front good by the guards in the front gate, meaning the person was harmless and so Tinsley signalled the maid to open the door.

Internally, she hoped it to be Kian even though it was impossible because the notification showed he had just landed a few minutes ago in the Richmond airport.

The maid opened the door and it revealed the one woman, Tinsley thought never having to see.

Serena Williams thanked the maid and got inside and her eyes locked with Tinsley who could not believe that out of all the people that could have had come to knock on her door at ten in the night....it had to be the woman from his past...

She could only wonder, what did she want now?? Why was she back again??

And there was a need she felt like throwing this woman out of her house right away because Kian would be here any minute if he sped home.

"Tinsley!"

Serena called out and Tinsley did not answer back immediately. Serena got closer to her where she was standing.

"I need your help! "

Tinsley wondered what kind of help it could be. But she was more interested in getting rid of her quickly than trying to hear her out.

She just did not like the idea of her husband coming to the home and facing his ex...the only woman he ever felt something for.

No matter how much he would assure, there would be a part in her that would be insecure about him and Serena in the same room.

"I do not think it is an appropriate time right now..."

Tinsley started and Serena knew that where this was going to go. She stopped Tinsley in between.

"Listen to me first...please! I have no one..."

"I m really sorry, Serena but I can't be of any help to you right at the moment...why don't we meet up at a restaurant tomorrow morning??"

Tinsley offered and Serena shook her head in the negative, not wanting that to happen. She needed the help right now.

"No...I need it now...please, can you at least listen to me??"

Serena requested with her defeated eyes. She was aware that Tinsley had no liking for her but in times like these...you could not care about such things.

"I can't...I m sorry! Alice will show you the way out..."

Tinsley crossed her hand against her chest and signalled Alice to let the woman out of the house.

Serena tried to evade away from the maid's hold. And right at that moment, Kian made entry.

"What the hell is going on here??"

He questioned on seeing his housemaid trying to pull Serena out of the house and Tinsley watching the scene unfolding silently from afar.

"Oh thanks, God! Kian you are here!!"

Serena thrashed out of the maid's hold and stepped towards him. Tinsley was taken aback by seeing her husband had arrived.

"What the hell was that??"

He directed his wrath to his wife, who did not know how to explain the situation to him.

"I did not know you were not home yet. So Tinsley answered the door and she was not ready to listen to me..."

"She needs help and we can't help her at this moment..."

Tinsley stepped in. She knew that she sounded a very cruel, unhelpful selfish woman but she just did not want Serena and Kian to be in the same room.

"And who are you to decide that??"

Kian raised his eyebrows at her. And Tinsley could see that he was angry at her.

"Kian, we need to be quick...she...my girl is not well!!"

Serena diverted Kian from Tinsley and not giving a second glance at his wife, he held Serena's hand and they both stepped out of the mansion, not before Kian mocked Tinsley.

"For once, stop being selfish!"

And even before, Tinsley could react, he was out of the mansion with Serena. He did not take the guards with him and drove himself out of the front gate, with Serena in the passenger seat.

Tinsley watched them leaving together and she did not how to feel or how to react to that.

All she kept hearing in her head was that Serena had already called Kian before coming here.

Kian had come early from his business trip because of Serena and not her. It hurt her to the point of feeling a deep ache in her heart.

And lastly, the fact that she heard, Serena, talking about a girl...her girl, as in her daughter.

Her daughter was sick and she had called Kian, asking for help. It did not need an expert to figure out the whole scenario.

But one thing was sickening about everything and the thought that the child could be...could be Kian's and Serena's...

And the very thought made Tinsley want to kill herself or him...she had no idea, what she felt at that point.

But there was a possibility that...it could be her husband's otherwise, it did not make sense why Kian would come rushing by just a single text of help for his ex's child...if not he shared it with her??

He could have had sent help or asked her to look after it. Yet he did no such thing and instead came running back to her...Serena.

The entire night, Tinsley remained awake, tossing and turning on the bed, walking around the room.

Her mind would not just rest, neither would her heart stop crying and worrying.

The slightest possibility that a child...could change their lives forever. And now that her child had entered the drama too, she did not know what place she held in her husband's life, touching her flat abdomen.

She kept dropping him texts and he responded to none of them. And all of a sudden, she felt heavy cramps on her lower abdomen.

She moaned out in pain and sat down on the bed, trying to calm herself down. The usual fear of losing her child crawled back into her.

She looked up at the clock and it stroke midnight. The flashes of her waking up to the bed, surrounded by her own blood and the clots gushing out of her core, flooded her mind.

She felt extreme pain on her sides and she knew it...knew that something was wrong inside of her.

She picked up her phone and called Kian immediately but it went to a voice call.

She repeatedly dialled his number to the point of getting blocked by her own husband and it was her breaking point.

The phone fell out of her hand, and to get it up, she strolled downwards, falling flat on her butt and cursing out to her life when she saw blood flowing out of her.
