PRECAP

He tilted his head to the side and saw her. His grey pairs peeking into her evergreen forest ones.

"Finally found you!"

He smirked and it ran shivers down her spine when he said that the way he said it...the noises in the background seemed to have faded as she could only listen, and hear to his sayings in a loop...

"Finally found you!!"

As if there was no escaping from him anymore. He found her. He found her daughter and he was not going to let them go this time...that easily for sure!

There was Lana, talking over a flute of champagne to the people outside in the lobby, totally unaware of the fact that her brother was slipping his tongue down the throat of her girlfriend.

Later, that afternoon, he was drinking whisky in his office when Kian got inside and slammed a folder on his table.

John turned around to look at him, narrowing his eyes, picking the folder up, opening it to find out the photos of him and Madi in a compromise position.

"Tell me where is my wife and your sister will not have to know the truth that his brother is fucking her girlfriend behind her back!"

Tinsley informed Madi and Lana that she was having a baby girl and the news broke out a happy celebration in the other side.

"We should definitely have a baby shower!"

Lana let out. Madison nodded in agreement, taking the last sip of her red wine and dropping the flute on the counter to speak up.

"No...no! A baby shower is just too much! "

Tin disagreed. She was already swimming in the pool of expenses, loans and whatnot and the baby shower was an expensive celebration even if they would have it a mini one, she could not manage to spend one extra penny that was not needed for emergency purposes.

"This is from her aunties!"

Madi spoke out, interrupting Tin. Lana smiled, giving her full support to Madison in this matter.

"You guys, it's really not necessary!"

"Well, we think it is so we are having one! If you disagree, you are not invited!"

Madi sassed and all of them broke out in a fit of a giggle. It had been so long since they had had a reunion.

Every time, Madi and Lana would make up a plan to come to visit her, there would be something from work that would pop out from nowhere and they would have to cancel the plan.

Tinsley could totally understand it. Lana was a supper IMD model worldwide and Madi had recently started her own airbase business, they both were busy and she did not want to get in between their work and life anymore. They had helped her so much and it was enough.

"So we will come next week? Fixed plan!"

Madi proposed, looking at Lana to see if she agreed and had no work plan by next week. Lana smiled, consenting to the plan.

Tinsley did not bother stopping them anymore. She too craved to have them there and meet them in person finally.

And suddenly, the doorbell ring went out. Madi excused herself to answer the door and left Lana to keep talking with Tinsley in their study.

She climbed down the stairs and walked up to the front door in the living room. They were not expecting anyone at the moment, yet when she opened the door, she knew that something was up for him to show up at this hour.

John was horrified and terrified at the same time, wondering how to break the news to her.

He was breathing high, trying to avoid eye contact with her. She could not help but wonder if this was about what had happened in the office earlier, this was not the time, she was expecting him to come and talk to her, especially when Lana was here too.

"I told him...I told him!"

Madison could not understand what he was saying and glared at him still standing on the threshold of the door, him still outside and her, holding the door open.

"I told him where she is..."

He whispered out, peeking at her eyes when she finally understood what he had meant.

At first, she could not believe it if he really meant what she understood and heard. She narrowed her eyes at him. And when he kept a straight face, it occurred to her that it had happened.

"Why??"

She let out, softly, not getting why he would do that. Everything was finally falling back into its place and he had to go and ruin everything.

"Why would you do that?"

She pressed. John did not know how to tell her why he did what he did. He tried to push her inside and talk.

"Let's talk inside..."

"No! You tell me why would you do that?"

Madi slapped his hands away from touching her. She was furious at him for breaking his promise. John was expecting such an outburst from her. He could not imagine when he would tell her why he did it.

"Let's just talk inside ok? Calm down!"

He tried to be patient with her. He knew that she was very protective of Tinsley after everything that had happened. And he had reasons why he had to let loose from the promise.

"Do not fucking tell me to calm down!"

She spat at him. She was beyond angry at this point. Finally when she thought she had succeeded in keeping her away from his reach and how beautifully, she was making a progress, and everything had to disrupt, break all lose in the nock of the time.

She was mad about that. She was aggravated about how he...that bastard was finally going to win the race...only one game, she had ever challenged him for.

She so thought...so felt like this was the end...ending of the nonstop succession of Kian Randall getting everything he wanted...she was confident that she had broken that cycle finally.

"If you do not calm down, I can't tell you why I did what I did!"

John yelled, whispered. She was being a goddamn stubborn woman, not giving him one second to explain his reasons.

He was not a promise-breaker, as she was assuming him to be. Hell! He had gone as far as concealing any kind of identity Kian's bunch of secret agents were trying to dig up.

If not for him, Kian would have found her out within a month, not to say they had gone more than six months, almost, only because he was really playing his part to hide her for real.

"I do not want to even listen why...why you do it?? You just wrecked the entire ship and none of your reasons would validate the fact that it is sinking now...it already had perhaps..."

Madi interrupted him. John sighed, he knew the intensity of the damage. But they would not be able to prevent the upcoming dangers if they did not talk.

"Listening to your justification here, he might have already reached her, standing on her door, about to knock and the shock that she would have...it will be all on you, John Kravinshly!"

Madi accused him as if he had done the most hideous crime. John was exhausted by this point. He just needed her to shut up for a moment and listen to him.

"Will you fucking seal your mouth even for a second?"

He snarled, running out of his patience. Madi was taken aback by his outburst and she let out a mocking giggle...she was nervous, anxious because he had never used such a tone with her.

Yet, she would not allow him to see her vulnerable. She was not the kind of woman, who bowed down, took the step backwards.

"I would not..."

"He show us..."

And that stopped her altogether. She gaped at him...at his words. He let it out finally.

"He show us in the office and..."

Before he could finish, Madi turned around and he did not understand her move. She was not affected by it? He did not get her...

She was done with him, trying to pull their affair in a matter like this to justify his loose actions.

There was no one...no one show them and if somebody did, it was on him. Who told him to pull her to him like that in a place like that??

She knew that she was becoming extremely selfish at this point of thrashing every blame at him but she was not going to take it...she was not going to be the reason behind Tinsley's misery anymore.

"It's on you!"

John narrowed his eyes at her. How could it be only him? When she was equally involved in the action.

"You are just trying to make it look like it's all me because you started this problem, Madison Maria...you asked him to marry her and now she is trapped...you do not get an easy pass out every time...own it up!"
