Chapter 102 Unexpected Turn Of Events II
What's good everyone? I haven't been able to update for several days now, and that's because I was sick and couldn't write, and also didn't have any already written chapters. I'm not fully OK yet, but I thought I'd post something.
See you lot later.

'Fucking SHIT!' Dustin panicked in his mind for about one second, before his usual calm self returned.
He had been blasted by the attack completely, and the main problem was that it was just fast enough for him not to notice it. There was no need to contemplate it. He immediately pulled up his system panel and began distributing points to his stats. He had run into something he couldn't afford to be lenient with.

With the addition of the points to his sense stat, Dustin could feel the effects immediately as he experienced a greater time dilation than he ever had. With his sixth sense skill now on full drive, the world around him had changed quite a bit, not to mention that his sense stat also affects his sixth sense, positively.
Dustin manoeuvred his body mid-air to properly land of the surface of the vertical wall, before jumping down. He would run up the wall if he could, but he was no spider-man or something like that. He would fall before he even got quarter way through.
It seemed like increasing his stats helped more than he originally thought, as now he could clearly identify the monsters and beasts he should be wary of, and the ones he could place at the back of his mind. Even now that he was basically present in an environment that was moving a bit slower than normal, the dragon that attacked him and a couple of other monsters were moving in the same time as him. Dustin however, didn't put much focus in the other creatures that were not the giant dragon before him, and that was relatively easy given the dragon's size.
When the dragon attacked, it did so with such speed that Dustin didn't even notice the attack approaching him till after he had already been hit. That was something he wished to avoid happening again, at least as much as he could.
'I need to get out of here ASAP.' He thought to himself.
While Dustin focused fully on the predator before him, the very thing he wanted not to happen, happened. Yet another attack he couldn't keep up with was thrown at him. Thankfully, he was able to catch this one just before it got dangerously close to him, and in a split second, his body responded by turning sideways quickly enough to just avoid the attack. Dustin didn't even see what the attack was, but he was thankful that his body had moved on its own. Battle instinct was really a fantastic thing.
A little explosion happened behind Dustin, but he didn't even bother to turn and look at what was going on there, as he already knew the cause, and he wasn't going to let it distract him.
With his eyes locked on the dragon, Dustin finally made up his mind on what to do. To be honest, it was the very first thing he thought of, but the plan was too simple and easy to counter that he had discarded it, but the way things were going-
'I would be dead if that dragon were to make an actual move.' Dustin thought to himself, so he went on with the plan regardless.
.. [For sake of memory]

That moment, the dragon looked around weirdly as it felt something change under it's rule. It was able to control the monsters and beasts present there in a way, so anything that affected that connection would not go unnoticed. AT that moment also, Dustin had also activated his taming skill, and not with the intention of taming any of the monsters present, but with something entirely different in mind.
'As far as possible.' Dustin said in his mind, as he spread his reach as far as he could, getting as many creatures as he could under his control. Before the dragon could properly react to what was going on, Dustin made his move.
'Now.'
He immediately turned tail and with all the force he could gather from a single position, he blasted off the ground like a projectile and headed for the walls formed by rocks.
The dragon just watched him as he did this. Dustin got to the walls and using the momentum, he stepped on it and began running vertically upward. It was now time to enter phase two of his plan.
He was very sure of the large size of the dragon, and that naturally, it would take the beast a great deal before it would be able to lift itself from where it was, but that was not knowledge he was willing to bet on. This was not the normal world, so for all he knew, that dragon could easily be the fastest thing alive. He wasn't taking any chances.
After he had run up the wall for some seconds, the momentum could no longer carry him through, and he was barely anywhere, so he leapt off and summoned his wyvern. At the same time this happened, hundreds of monsters and beasts began rushing towards the dragon and some other beasts that were not under Dustin's control.
His plan was to use the beasts to block the dragon and the other stronger beasts so that he would be able to buy time for his escape.
The plan was going well, and the beasts under his control seemed to be doing their job well too. The dragon did, of course, send other beasts after Dustin, those that were not under his control, but all he needed to do was to take control of those one and send them back as well.
Just like he had suspected, and he was really lucky that fantasy didn't fuck him over this time. The dragon wasn't the fastest thing alive (not in the actual sense), but the problem now was its obvious strength. Just one flap of its wings that didn't even look serious was enough to throw countless other weaker creatures several tens of metres back. Seeing the strength, Dustin was even more motivated to leave.
The entire time he flew up, he could feel that the dragon really wasn't interested in giving chase, because just one of its earlier attacks would do much, as his wyvern might not be as fast as Dustin himself to dodge it. Though he was in a lookout so that he could manoeuvre the wyvern ahead of time, he really doubt that would be very effective.
However, as one couldn't eat sour soup without stomach ache, just when Dustin was about to reach the sea of cloudy mist that covered the top of the cliff, a draconic creature covered in a strange red energy sped towards them, faster than anything Dustin had ever seen before. A distance that took the wyvern at least a minute to cover. This creature must have done it in just some seconds. There was really no way for Dustin to dodge, except of course, he abandon his wyvern, which he immediately did, as the next moment, the approaching draconic beast rammed it into the wall.
Now Dustin was mid air, and falling, once again, back towards the bottom.
'The FUCK MAN.'
