Chapter 445 - 445: Player And Plaything
Too bad that the rat didn't have any intention of dying though, as Eric quickly covered his vitals with Dragon Force, and just waited for the kick.
'Booommmmm…, Booommmmm~!'
This time, the foot didn't land on Eric's face, despite the fact that it was much stronger than the previous one.
In fact that wasn't even the weirdest part about this situation, as not only didn't Young Master Cui Tao's foot squash Eric's head to the wall behind him, but it even made him fly in a totally different direction.
It actually made Eric fly on the side, and go crashing on the door, and right after that on the door opposite the one he came from.
It was impossible for Young Master Cui Tao to understand just what had happened, as he looked towards Eric's direction with shock and wonder under his stealth.
Beside that weird direction that Eric flew away, there was also that weird and rampant energy that seemed different from any kind of energy that he had seen up to that moment.
He didn't understand what was going on! But he was quickly able to reach to a logical explanation, Eric must possess some nice secrets.
Thinking like that he couldn't help but get happy about it, as he thought about what the future had in store for him, hoping that at least that would be worth it for him coming here.
But certainly that was just his thoughts, and he had to confirm them, as he walked playfully towards Eric's direction while saying,
"I have to admit it little rat, you are surprising me more and more! Just what is that strange energy you have? How and where did you find it?
If you give that to me, perhaps I might reconsider and let you keep your life!"
Eric on the other hand seemed to have gotten even more frightened, and panicky as he went to the next tortured guy on the table, which was Master Huo Tie.
"Master Huo Tie, Master Huo Tie, please wake up!"
But once again there was no response to all his pleas, and words. It felt like he was actually trying to wake up a dead man from his sleep.
If it weren't for the fact that he could still 'sense' their heartbeat, and their breathing, he would have truly thought that they were actually dead at that moment.
Seeing that there was no answer even after that much pleading, slapping, and noise, he seemed to have given up from the guy and jumped towards the other wall.
His idea seemed to run away before Young Master Cui Tao lost his patience and kicked him again. He didn't seem capable or confident of taking more of Young Master Cui Tao's kicks and punches.
'Boooommm~!'
Another wall was brough down, and another booming sound spread inside the building. Fortunately or unfortunately there didn't seem to be anyone who could hear that sound.
"Hahahahah~! Run little rat, run! Only like that will you make our little game even more fun to play!"
On the other hand, Eric had finally found the third person he was looking for and couldn't help but try to wake him up too.
Once again his efforts were for naught, and he could only think of a way to run away. His opponent was just too difficult to deal with, since he was unable to even look at him.
Unable to think of anything better he could only once again try to break through a wall, and hope that he would find a way to escape or fight back behind the wall.
'Booooommmm~!'
"Hahahahaah~! Little rat, there aren't many walls left for you to break! Soon, you will be left with no choice! Hahahaha~!"
Breaking the inner walls was rather easy as they were just simple one layered brick walls, but the outer walls of the building were double layered and filled with cement.
To break the outer walls one would need to have the strength to actually break steel, while the comparison was a bit exaggerated, the difficulty of breaking through that wall was real.
This time Eric seemed to have ended up in a different place, it was the kitchen. These guys seemed to be real pros, as they didn't even order food from outside.
There were all kinds of foods and drinks in the counter, mostly of them were frozen food but and cheap beer but it was still better than ordering outside for their secrecy.
Especially when they had the numbers that they had brought to this city. Quite smart of an idea, even Eric had to admit that.
But now wasn't the time to think about stuff like that, and admit the opponents greatness, now it was time for him to make a move.
As if he had found a solution to all this, he started picking up the beer bottles from the counter and throw them around the room.
He seemed to be looking for a lucky hit that would also show him the position of the stealthy guy. After all, he could become invisible, but he was still there.
'Clankk, clank, clannnkkk…'
Bottles started breaking all around the room, but none of them seemed to end up on target. Not even one of them, as most of them ended up on the ceiling.
"Hhahahaha~! Good idea little rat, just its useless! The disparity in strength between us is just that great!
After all, you are unable to see and 'sense' me, right? Hahahhaha~!"
"Arrgghhhh~! You damn bastard!"
All of a sudden Eric seemed to have lost it as he threw all the bottles that were on the counter in anger, as they ended up clashing on the ceiling.
"Hahahah~! What happened little rat? How come you got angry all of a sudden! You shouldn't be like this, is bad for your health!
I wouldn't want you to die before I kill after all!"
"You damn monster!"
Eric seemed unable to control his anger and emotions, as he started punching and kicking around the room, even though none of his kicks or punches connected.
"Hahahahha~! Come on little rat, you are becoming more and more energetic! I like this, go on!"
For more than 10 minutes Eric jumped around trying to land a lucky hit on the guy that was playing with him, like he was playing with his little dog.
Infuriating, enraging, and blood curdling but no matter how much Eric tried to land a hit on the invisible guy, he didn't manage to land even one.
On the other hand, Young Master Cui Tao's pleasure and fun seemed to be growing with each passing second.
He looked just like someone who was on the brink of a climax. The more Eric tried the funnier it became for him.
But no matter how enraged and infuriated Eric was, he couldn't continue like that all the time, and before he could comprehend it, he seemed to have run out of strength and stamina.
His punches, and kicks became slopier, the openings he left increased, and he was slowly turning into a slowly moving punchbag of sorts.
Seeing that his plaything had lost interest, Young Master Cui Tao decided to give his little toy a little bit of motivation, as he once again kicked Eric with his shoe sole right in the face.
Right at that moment though, Eric's aura suddenly changed and surged once again, as he suddenly dodged to the side and sent a punch flying in front.
That caught Young Master Cui Tao unprepared, as he had no other choice but to quickly react and dodge the punch, while being extremely shocked that he had almost been hit.
"Arrrggghhh~! You bastard, you managed to escape for a whisker, but don't worry I will catch you next time!
I just need to keep my senses sharp and feel the wind!"
With that said, Eric quickly took position once again, this time with his back against the open hole in the wall, while taunting the guy that had played with him until that moment,
"Come on! The real fight starts now, I am going to make you regret everything you did until now!"
Young Master Cui Tao felt angered by the taunts of his plaything, as he couldn't believe that this guy had become so arrogant after only almost landing a lucky strike.
He would have to teach this damn bastard a good lesson, otherwise he might forget who was the player and who was the plaything.
The moment those thoughts surfaced on his head, he was ready to jump immediately and give Eric a good beating, but suddenly he stopped and took a better look at his plaything and the situation.
It was clear that Eric was trying to actually make him mad, make him lose reason, and attack in anger. But that would narrow his perspective on the fight, and he would be playing to Eric's tune.
This little rat was quite smart, but too bad that his opponent was much more intelligent and smarter than him.
"Hahaha~! Little rat, it was a good try but unfortunately it's your loss. Let me teach you a lesson about the disparity between the two of us."
With that said, he waited for a few moments more, and just when Roy was on the last strands of his guard, he jumped in attack and kicked him in the guts, sending him flying through the hole he had entered this room.
What surprised him though, was the fact that Roy managed to smooth his crash to the wall, before his aura and presence disappeared.
Unable to believe what had just happened, he immediately followed behind…
