The Primordial Record

Chapter 1286 Good Son

Chapter 1286 Good Son

The first time that Rowan's Reflection entered the Frozen Road and recorded the songs of the Sirens he had always stopped himself from finishing them because he instinctively knew that this would cause devastating consequences in reality, leading to changes he could not anticipate or handle.

At that time the Reflection had no true understanding of the nature of reality outside the universe and could not withstand the consequences if he completed this act.

This instinct that allowed the Reflection to stop his recording was a knowledge that Rowan understood as it had been shared with him by the World Stele but he had purposely held back this knowledge from his Reflection because he knew that if his Reflection understood the consequences, he would simply destroy the books and never place them inside his dimension.

The truth about these final words was simple, they were the last drop of Primordial Essence left in the bodies of the Sirens, and completing them would create a passage into Doom Star where the last Primordial Essence contained inside their heads would be siphoned into the body of their son to begin his resurrection.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

The Primordial Essence inside the heads of the Sirens was what preserved the Frozen Road which was the greatest connection between the lower third-dimensional universes and the Great Darkness, hence if it was broken, the entirety of the Great Darkness would fall into disarray, which meant that reality in its totality would be affected.

Rowan by recording the last sets of words on this page was about to change reality forever.

The moment the first sets of words began appearing on the last pages, the eyes of the six Sirens over in the Frozen Road snapped open and glowed a furious blue, their cries that had been heard for countless eternities since the beginning of the Supreme Era ended, and something much more frightening occurred, they began to laugh.

Below them, on the Frozen Road, countless tiny cracks began to appear.

Such a change, immediately happening after that cry from Doom Star was another evidence that something incredibly impactful was happening. If those that could not make their way to Doom Star because of the distance, then the problem had arrived at their doorstep because the Frozen Road that crossed the Great Darkness and led to every higher dimensional universe was shaking.

The uproar this generated was impossible to describe. Perhaps the closest would be when the Primordial War began, but this one could be considered even worse, because the war had been expected, but the entirety of the Frozen Road being shaken to the core was a change that no one expected.

Every Immortal inside a universe who could perceive the changes happening outside of it, and every Immortal outside the universe stopped whatever activities they were performing and looked at the Frozen Road.

Wars ended, and competition across domains halted, as reality seemed to hold its breath before the shaking Frozen Road and the laughter of the Sirens.

In the heart of immortals everywhere were both fascination and horror. Not since the end of the Primordial Era had such great changes ever occurred in reality.

From three points in space across different parts of reality, three immortals burst out of space-time at nearly the same time,

Old Man Seed, Caine, and Shamaram. Their appearances were bedraggled, being blasted by a Time-storm, and if not for their strength, they could have been lost across Time and Space for many eternities.

They had not even begun to come to terms with what was happening with Doom Star when the eyes of the six sirens above Doom Star began to blaze, and the Frozen Road began to shake.

Caine and Shamaran appeared confused, nothing could have prepared them for this change, except for Old Man Seed who was grinning like a maniac,

"Good Son... Good Son... You deserved the nine Supreme Circles ten times over! Hahaha..."

Rowan's consciousness danced across the six books, which were shining bright with a blue light, making them appear like six massive blue suns. Their lights were so bright, that they hid the other three books, where Rowan was also completing the last set of pages.

He was aware of the changes that would be affecting reality at this moment, and even the titan, and the Eye of Time had stopped and stared with fascination at what was occurring outside Doom Star.

As his consciousness burned his mind began to go over what he aimed to achieve by taking such a drastic step. Of course, everything was for the sake of power, but one could not take advantage of that power if one did not understand it.

There were two sides to the paths of power; Aether and Essence, or Core and Territory, there were many names for them.

Inside the material universe and outside of it was a prevalent energy source known as Aether, and its concentration depended on many factors, with the biggest contributor to the amount of Aether in a given space being the dimensional level of that space. An immortal, especially those in the higher dimension can passively produce Aether after their bodies have been transformed into their present immortal state in limited amounts, and if an immortal were to live in an area with no Aether, after some time their presence would begin to transform the area with the Aether being released from their bodies, but the true producers of Aether were the dimensions itself, as no immortal could generate a fraction of the Aether produced by any dimension. Except in special cases, a third-dimensional universe was able to produce more Aether than a fifth-dimensional immortal, and even a sixth-dimensional immortal would struggle to produce as much Aether as a lower universe.

It was one of the reasons why higher dimensional beings rarely left the higher dimensional realms they inhabited because they needed the high concentration of Aether in their surroundings to power much of their abilities, trying to live with only the passive amount of Aether generated by their bodies were a very inefficient method to live by the standards of immortals.

Aether was the building block for most supernatural occurrences in reality, as the ability to perceive, manipulate, and consume Aether was the first step to reaching a higher state of being.

Of course, Aether could be graded in terms of potency, as the Aether generated by a Primordial Dimension was far more potent even in smaller concentrations than those generated by any random dimension produced by a World Bearer.

Above Aether was Aetherium, a power that was distinctively set aside for the true rulers of reality. Where the first and easiest entry point to gain that power was to become a seventh-dimensional immortal, and only then would the immortal have the capability to begin refining Aetherium.

At this time there was no higher form of power that was known.

The other side of power was Essence, and this one was born from the flesh. From the lowest of mortals to the highest of immortals, all had access to Essence in varying amounts and quality, and it was what dictated the fleshy power of their bodies. There were three types of Essence, there was the Pure Essence, which was available to all creatures, mortal and immortal even higher dimensional immortals. Higher dimensional immortals often insultingly refer to lesser immortals who had not attained the power of Wills as mortal, because ultimately their lifespan, no matter how long, had a limit unless they joined a higher dimensional domain and merged their souls with that domain.
