The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Back at the study room, Xin Yichen and Long Shaoming were enjoying tea, oblivious of the chaotic situation in the room next to theirs. Though, they had an inkling that the two headstrong and adamant personalities would not succumb to each other's wishes easily and the negotiation might end with bloodshed.

"She is just like her. Isn't she? The rage, the air of arrogance, and even the ruthlessness. For a minute, I thought I was standing in front of her if not for her memorable and unusual eyes," Long Shaoming told his old Nemesis while sipping the tea.

Xin Yichen completely disregarded the questions as if he didn't hear him and continued with what he was doing. Indeed her daughter, was just like her mother thorough and thorough . She inherited her mother's signature rage and the air of pride but she got his looks except for those rare eyes.

" You lied to your son about Zhenyi. May I ask why?" Xin Yichen asked him a few moments later.

Shaoming was aware that he was trying to divert the course of conversation but he didn't mind because he never talked about his deceased wife.

"Yes, I did " Long Shaoming replied while taking another sip of tea."One day, he may thank me for keeping the real identity secret. I wanted him to find about her himself by getting to knew her personally rather than through his investigation reports."

Xin Yichen knew Long Shaoming better to believe his gibberish stories. He had always been a cunning and resourceful man and if he decided on something it certainly meant something substantial. Since he didn't disclosed to his son about Zhenyi's real identity, he was certainly planning something big or he already had begun implementing his plans.

"Yichen."

Long Shaoming's voice broke series of thoughts. Xin Yichen turned his eyes towards the man sitting in front of him.

"When I first found out about her, I was shocked and mad that you would permit your only daughter to get associated with the filthy and dark life, we are the part of. I had to see it with my own eyes, and then to decide upon it ,but watching few of her tricks sure changed my mind."

Yichen smiled and recalled how she was taught and trained to run his empire. He never doubted her capabilities as his heiress on the grounds of her gender. She was the adept heiress a emperor could ask for. She was born as a princess but she moulded herself as a proud queen. His empire was always meant for his daughter and as for his son, he couldn't be compared to him or her.

"I didn't allow my daughter to do anything.Its just that she doesn't ask for permission . She takes what she wants. By the time I'd figured out what happened, it's too late to prevent her. I didn't even realize it when she started taking over. One moment she was helping me in board room and handling our men, the next she was telling me not to worry because she already knew what to do. I just didn't try to fight her, because it was always meant to be for her. I won't deny that it was not my wish to pamper and spoil her with every luxury available in the world but I soon realized that she might look like me but she was her mother's daughter through and through. "

Long shaoming nodded his head he understood what the other man was implying.His daughter in law was no ordinary woman and he knew why she was perfect for his isolated son. Long jie might think that he could outwit his father by marrying Xin Zhenyi but Long shaoming was no idiot. He intentionly threw the bait in front of his son to marry Xin Zhenyi if he wanted his position. Long Shaoming was already prepared to retire and handover his position to his eldest son but he waited for the perfect opportunity because he knew how crucial it was for him to get him married to Xin Zhenyi.

Since the marriage was settled, he had nothing to worry about anymore. He tried to see through the man in front of him but he could not matter how much he tried. Long shaoming definitely had his own reason for this whole marriage charrade but he didn't knew what convinced xin yichen to agree to his proposal. But anyways he tried to test the water again.

" Aren't you worried my son might take advantage of your daughter ?" Long Shaoming asked curiously.He understood that his son was a narrow-minded misogynist pig when it came to woman and he would definitely use his wife to satisfy his thirst for power.

Xin yichen grunted and gave him a dirty look as if he heard the joke of the century.
