"Oh my god!!!" Then, the girl exclaimed, practically bouncing with excitement. "I'm Xiao Ci. I'm your biggest fan." She took out her phone and started showing something on the phone screen to Zhenyi. "I'm the president of your fan club--" 

Sam grabbed the phone from Xiao Ci's hand and said, "But you don't even know her name. And how did you find her pictures?" 

Xiao Ci pouted. "She didn't tell me her name last time. I just know her as 'dashing lady.' I clicked your pictures secretly but the Chief secretary deleted all your pictures from my phone. I also ordered the--" She stopped talking and looked here and there to check if someone was hearing her. Seeing that the women in the store were, strangely enough, staring at the group of three, she gestured to Zhenyi and Sam with her hand to come close. "I also ordered the sharp-edged playthings but that jealous Chief secretary fired me on the spot… Aiyoo! Life is so tough for a hardworking woman like me. But don't you worry, dashing lady. I'll be your fan till my last breath." 

Sam blinked his eyes as the girl kept on telling Zhenyi how much she adored her. 'Oh, God! Who is this alien creature and what fan club is she talking about? My best friend is not an idol material. Neither does she deserve to be called one. Heck, what the hell is wrong with my best friend? Why does it seem like she is accepting to be this strange girl's idol? Save me, God. I'm dying. My heart is attacking. Oh, no. I'm having a heart attack…" 

Zhenyi patted Xiao Cia's shoulder and asked her to calm down. The girl blushed as Zhenyi touched her shoulder. 'So handsome!' 

"Thank you, Xiao Ci," Zhenyi said with a gentle smile. "Since you're the president of my fan club, why don't you pick up a dress and my best friend will pay for it?" 

"Why would I pay for her dress?" Sam spoke immediately. Did she not know her brother had freezed the cards he had been given? 'Sob. Sob. I had to use my own money, it seems.' 

It wasn't that Sam was a penny-pincher. It was just that if he used his cards, his dad would know that he was in the same city. And if his dad knew, it wouldn't take long for her mom to know too.

"Because she is the president of my fan club," Zhenyi retorted. He should be punished for basically dragging her shopping. 

"No. No. You don't need to buy me a dress," Xiao Ci spoke. "I only came here because I saw you earlier." 

"You see, my best friend wants to take me shopping and I came as I can't say no to him," Zhenyi said and turned towards Sam. "But you didn't say that I need to shop for myself. Moreover, I have more clothes for this season than I can wear in this whole lifetime. So, please don't waste your hard earned money on me."

Not so reluctantly Sam bought a dress for Xiao Ci. He was always good to people who were good to his best friend. And the number of people who were genuinely good to Zhenyi could be counted on one hand or his little finger. It was only because his best friend was not good to people, to begin with. 

Xiao Ci kept thanking both of them. 

"Can I take a picture with you?" Xiao Ci asked with those puppy eyes. 

"Sure, but you can't post it," Zhenyi said as they clicked a picture...

"You are my idol and I want to show the picture to the whole world," Xiao Ci said with a sad voice. 

Zhenyi gently rubbed her head and said," You said that I'm your idol, right?" Xiao Ci nodded. "Why did you accept me as your idol out of all the amazing people out there? I'm no celebrity, just an ordinary businesswoman." 

"You say that you're an ordinary businessman. Maybe, you're right. But you are not an ordinary woman. In my eyes, you're the most amazing woman I have ever seen," Xiao Ci began. "I saw you at Du cooperation. When you said President Du enjoys pleasure with pain, I thought it was supposed to be a prank. Later, when the doctor came and a bandage was wrapped around his neck. I knew that it was your doing. He pretends to be charming and a gentleman but he is no less than a demon who seeks pleasure in destroying the lives of innocent girls. You taught him a lesson in his own territory and this makes you wonderful in my eyes. I admire how strong, bold, and outspoken you are. I wish to be like you when I grow up." 

'Thank God, this already grown-up girl won't ever grow up in her life. If she did, who would handle another Zhenyi?' Sam said in his heart. 

Zhenyi smiled at her. "If I'm an amazing woman in your eyes then why do you need to show that to others? You can always like someone and not show it off on social media. However, I suggest you not to like everything I like. You have seen a little glimpse of me that day. You don't know my story, my life, or even my character. Admire someone for their good character, Xiao Ci. Don't idolize everything about them." 

The way Zhenyi spoke, Xiao Ci felt like idolizing her even more. 

"What a surprise! I didn't expect to come across Mrs. Long again," Chen Yuling said with a smile. She threw a glance at Sam who had a very interesting expression on his face and another at the girl standing next to Zhenyi who left as Sam gestured her to. "Well, I shouldn't say but how come Mrs. Long had a different man with her every time we met?" 

Zhenyi threw an uninterested look at Chen Yuling. "If you know that you shouldn't utter nonsense, then who the hell is asking you to?"
