The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Faye took her hand and smiled at her. She even shook her hand like an adult. 

Behind Zhenyi, Alcina just died with jealousy. This smiling girl was her daughter? Heck, her daughter didn't even throw a glare in her direction let alone a smile. She suddenly hated Zhenyi. No, she was envious of her. Why must everyone she cares for like her more? 

Zhenyi had a strange feeling inside her as she stared at Faye's facial features. There was just something special about this kid which she couldn't point out that called to her. A voice in her heart was telling him to go ahead and bury this sweet kid in her embrace. 

"Faye, if I didn't know better I would have said you are mine and Jie's daughter," Zhenyi muttered under her own breath. Truly, some of Faye's features matched with that of Zhenyi's and Long Jie's.

Alcina and Feng Siyan tried to feed Faye but the little princess had her arms crossed over her chest, her chin raised in the air, and eyes stuck on Zhenyi's face. 

Zhenyi had a hard time stifling her laugh. She was truly adorable in her own way. Although her face was blank, she could still see a haughty look in her eyes.

Could she be any more cute?

"Little princess, why don't you take a bite?" Feng Siyan kept on coaxing her. His heart was aching as he saw Faye starving because of Alcina. But what could he do when he knew Alcina changed her diet for the better. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he must say that Alcina's medical skills were unparalleled. 

"Why are you calling her a little princess?" Zhenyi asked Feng Siyan who froze as soon as he heard her voice. Very nice of him to have a guilty conscience. 

"Because she is m-master's daughter. And she is the princess of the family," Feng Siyan stuttered for the first time. 'Oh, Feng Siyan, you stutter too.'

Zhenyi shook her head at the shocking situation. However, she put her whole attention to Faye and said, a sweet smile blossoming on her beautiful face. "We don't call queens princess. Look at her posture from which angle do you see a spoiled princess? All I see is a brave queen. Right, Faye?" 

Faye, who wasn't called a queen by anyone before, looked at Zhenyi with appreciation. Her eyes clearly said to Alcina that she liked Zhenyi more than her. She nodded her head slowly. 

Alcina had a dire urge to take her daughter away from Zhenyi and hide her in the closet. She had yet to get her acknowledgment. And now she even had a rival?

Zhenyi smiled again."But only the spoiled princess throws a tantrum, the queen doesn't. If you want to grow up like your dad, you will have to finish your food as your mom says. Do you understand me?" 

Faye nodded. 

And that's how she started eating the food along with others. Not only that, she ate food with her own hands as only the princess got fed by others. And she was a queen like Zhenyi said. 

"Little princess, let me ---" Feng Siyan's words froze in his mouth when he saw a glare in her direction. Did his little princess just glare at him? 

"L-little Queen," Faye said in a hoarse voice. 

Alcina had a sudden impulse to cry her heart out but no tears came out. Her daughter just took her title. She wanted to tell her father that the daughter he had raised was a traitor. 

On the other hand, Feng Siyan who always took pride in being Faye's favorite uncle just kept staring at her face. He immediately fired a message to Long Jie to take his wife from here. 

"Well, I'm taking my leave. Alcina take care of yourself and your daughter," Zhenyi said, a resigned look visible on her face. She gave her card to Alcina. "Call me if you ever need help." Glancing at Faye and Feng Siyan, she added," I guess we were always meant to be family." 

Alcina had no words to say to Zhenyi and so she just nodded.

As Zhenyi was about to exit the threshold of the mansion, she felt a tug on her suit jacket. Glancing down, she found a teary-eyed Faye gazing at her intently.

"You don't like me?" The little girl who was just given the title of a queen by Zhenyi asked in a scratchy voice. Alcina and Feng Siyan were too stunned to react. Of course, they have heard Faye talk. But she never openly talked to anyone except her dad. Well, she once talked to Alcina just to say that she didn't want her. 

Since when did her daughter start asking people if they liked her or not? She was a proud and sensitive kid for her age. 

"Says who?" Zhenyi asked with a smile as she kneeled on the floor and caressed her face softly. 

Is that why you are leaving me like Ru?" Faye asked, now the tears leaking from the corner of her eyes. These spilling emotions were troubling the little girl even more. She didn't understand emotions quite well. And she couldn't understand why her eyes were wet. But these days whenever she remembers her father, her eyes become wet. This was so odd to her. 

Zhenyi had an instant wish to slap Alcina, Feng Siyan and even Long Jie at this time. These people were unintentionally playing with the little girl's feelings.

She pulled Faye into her embrace and said while stroking her back, "I can't not like you, baby. How can someone not like a beautiful little girl like you? You know God took one baby from me but give me another in your form. No one is leaving you I promise. We all will come back to you. But only at the right time. You have to wait for the right time. Tell me my little queen, will you continue waiting for a little longer?"
