The Wife of Hades

She looked up and was slightly surprised when she saw, "Hanhan!"

After finishing his class, Qi Yuyang immediately ran out and over to the B Building, where An Luxia's last class was located.

He entered the cold building and turned around, going up the stairs and stopping in front of the closed doors. He would wait right here for her to come out!

He leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms together and tapping his feet against the ground, frequently looking up at the clock and waiting for the door to open.

When the clock hit 3 P.M., he immediately straightened his back and turned around, facing the door. However, before he could even reach his hand up to organize his hair, the world around him suddenly turned black as he felt something cover his head. 

Then, he was pulled back by a very strong and aggressive pair of arms. 

"Ah! Who are you?! What are you doing?! Let go of -"

A strong force quickly attacked his back neck area and before he knew it, he was unconscious.

--- 23 minutes later

When he woke up again, he was laying on the hard asphalt, and he quickly made out three tall figures standing in the shadows, so he couldn't see their faces.

It took a few seconds before he regained consciousness and he pushed himself up, "Who are you people?! How dare you do this to me? I'll put all of you in jail!"

He stupidly reached around to pull out his phone, but the next second, he was practically kicked into the air as the phone he had barely grasped fell out of his hand.

A man wearing a mask stepped out and pulled him up by the collar, leaning forward so Qi Yuyang could hear the man's breathing in his ears.

"Put us in jail?" The man chuckled, "Good luck with that." 

Then, the two other men stepped out and they were all wearing masks. There was a soft groaning sound and just as Qi Yuyang was wondering where the sound came from, a strong gust of wind flew his way as a kick landed on his stomach.

For the next minute or so, Qi Yuyang could only scream for help until he was too tired to even speak. Why were they hitting him?! What did he do?!

Just as he was thinking that, all motion stopped and he slowly opened his eyes to see another figure appear from the shadows.

He furrowed his eyebrows together and blinked a few times. But then, the world spinned as he was forcefully lifted off the ground.

"You must be wondering who we are and why you deserve this, right?" The man's voice was deep and cold, and it seemed to be coming from very far away.

"Let me tell you why. You messed with the wrong woman. . . My woman." Then, the man released his hand and Qi Yuyang fell back onto the hard ground.

The man stood up and pulled out a white handkerchief, wiping his hands, "Continue."

The three men nodded their heads simultaneously and pulled Qi Yuyang up again, continuing to launch attacks at him. Surprisingly, they seemed to know perfectly well exactly where and how hard to hit so Qi Yuyang would not pass out and the bruises would not be seen under the clothes.

The other man stood back and watched, crossing his hands together. Then, another person came and Qi Yuyang looked up, hoping that it was someone here to help.

However, the person that arrived walked over to the man standing and whispered something into his ear. 

Qi Yuyang groaned as another punch hit him, "I'm definitely going to tell my dad about this," he moaned softly.

Mo Han chuckled when he heard this, knowing that Qi Yuyang's dad was a decent figure in the city, but definitely no threat to him.

He turned to look at the person that had just arrived, "She's coming?"

"Yes sir."

"You stay here and watch. Maybe. . . two more minutes?"

"Yes sir."

Mo Han took one last look at Qi Yuyang before turning around and walking away quickly. As he walked, he took off his mask and threw it onto the ground, and then put on his suit jacket, pulling out a pair of golden-framed glasses from it and putting it on.

As he turned around, he bumped into someone who seemed to have been running, and he looked down to see her. 

"Hanhan!"

Mo Han blinked a few times before smiling, "You're here."

An Luxia smiled back at him and grabbed onto his hand, stepping forward towards the back parking lot, "Come on, let's go."

However, before she could even take one step, Mo Han suddenly pulled her back and turned her around, pushing her along in the other direction.

As they walked, there was suddenly a soft screaming sound and An Luxia stopped, raising one eyebrow as she turned around.

Mo Han cleared his throat and smiled, "There is construction going on back there. I parked the car in the front. Let's go."

He wrapped his arm around hers and continued to walk towards the front of the school. An Luxia scratched her head confusedly but didn't think too much about it. 

At the front of the school, they entered the car and drove back home, where An Luxia made dinner for Mo Han.

In case any of you didn't like this scene or think our male lead is too violent, I just want to remind you that he IS the King of the Underworld, even if he doesn't seem like it in front of our beautiful Xiaxia! He has done much worse things than this mere teeny tiny punishment hahaha ^o^! For him, this isn't a big deal, although it probably is for most people. I hope this makes sense hahaha thank you!!
