Li Yilan stared at her phone flabbergasted, unable to believe that her stupid manager had the guts to hang up on her! 

However, what was she talking about? Why was she in trouble? What trouble could she be in? Li Yilan turned around and decided to not care about what her manager had said, and instead started scrolling through social media.

She very quickly noticed that something was indeed wrong. She had posted some selfies of her in her room yesterday, and she was looking forward to reading all the positive comments and compliments she received overnight.

However, to her surprise, the comments all seemed to be talking about something she did not understand and were scolding her. Li Yilan knit her eyebrows together, her manager's words returning as she left social media and quickly went online to search for her name.

In the past, the interview clips would be at the top of the search engine, but they had been replaced with something else.

Li Yilan's eyes widened as she stared at her phone screen in disbelief, "An Luxia?!"

An Luxia woke up extra early this morning although she had no classes today. Her plan had originally been to focus on writing her book, because it was getting more and more successful with each passing day, and many people were curious on how the cold underground King would steal the young woman's heart.

However, her plans had changed after what happened yesterday. She needed to write something else, something more important.

She silently got out of bed, hoping that Mo Han wouldn't wake up, but he was a light sleeper and woke up right away, "It's so early, why are you getting up?"

An Luxia turned around and patted him on the head with a sweet smile, "I have some things to do. You can keep sleeping, little Hanhan."

An Luxia went to quickly wash her face and grab a cup of water before sitting down and starting to write. After the interview, many netizens had somehow found her social media accounts and they were getting flooded with negative comments about her that she had not opened up her social media since the interview had come out yesterday.

Upon opening it, she saw that she had over a thousand messages from strangers, all of which were probably telling her to die. Her only post she had posted on her birthday was also flooded with comments by now, all of which were telling her that she was ugly and for her to die as well.

She ignored them and began writing another post. First, she uploaded a picture and wrote one simple line.

The post An Luxia sent first was also the first post Li Yilan saw. An Luxia had attached an image of her marriage certificate with Mo Han and the simple line she wrote explained everything.

Underneath the post, many people were expressing their astonishment at how beautiful An Luxia looked. She had blurred out Mo Han's face so the netizens could not figure out who her husband was, but the image was enough.

Underneath that post, another long post with no images and a lot of words was also blowing up, and underneath, many people were trash talking Li Yilan, and also her parents.

'Good morning, everyone. I am An Luxia, and most of you probably know me through Li Yilan's interview, where she talked about me and my story about getting adopted. I read the story myself and noticed that there was a lot of. . . false information and accusations. So, I am here today to explain the true story of my adoption once again.

When I was 3, my mother, Mrs. He Muya, got pregnant with Li Yilan. The doctor had told her that it was a boy. My parents did not have the resources to raise two kids, so I overheard a conversation of them deciding to throw me away since I was a girl.

Furthermore, I am not "heartless" like Li Yilan claimed and my husband had given my parents 100 thousand dollars, like they demanded.

They found me after 20 years and came to my house, demanding me to give them money even though they had not raised me for most of my life and threw me away. I am sure that many people will be able to understand the anger and frustration I felt. Even so, my husband was generous enough to give them 100 thousand like they had demanded.

Li Yilan's hands were shaking by now as she stared at the post, listening to the recording from beginning to end. However, it was not over yet.

When Li Yilan saw the third and final post that An Luxia had posted, she burst into tears of anger as she threw her phone at the door, causing a huge commotion as she pulled on her hair, "URGHH!!"

An Luxia finally finished her third post, and grinned as she posted it. The final post had five pictures, one video, and only one sentence again.

However, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the netizens would definitely be able to craft up their own stories from the five pictures alone. 

The first picture was Li Yilan walking into a building with a very revealing dress. Then, it was a picture of her inside the bar, entering a room. The five pictures explained themselves easily, and the short video tied the story together.

It was when An Luxia had talked to the man in charge of the bar, and how he explained what Li Yilan's job was. The video was short, but everything made sense from when the man said he knew who Li Yilan was and what job she was doing here at the bar.

The last sentence was simple but strong, and it lit the whole Internet on fire.

"Who is the actual one sleeping with men for money?"

It took several minutes before Li Yilan finally calmed down slightly, and her eyes were blood red as she grabbed her phone, pressing the power button several times for it to open.

She immediately called her manager, who purposely didn't pick up for several seconds.

"What is it?" The manager said with a grim smile.

Li Yilan was furious at her manager's attitude right now, but she had to hold it in, "What do I do now, sister Yang?!"

The manager couldn't help but scoff as she said, "Come to the company now."

Then, she hung up.

A few minutes later, Li Yilan dashed into the company, still in her pajamas as she quickly went up to the floor where her manager was waiting for her.

However, it wasn't just the manager. There were many other people, and even some of the top executives of the company were inside the meeting room when Li Yilan burst in.

She looked at the table filled with people and her heartbeat sped up even more as she felt more scared. All eyes were on her, and she could tell from her manager's glare that she was in trouble. Very, big trouble.

She sat down and her manager spoke first.

"All of the companies that had reached out to you for an endorsement have called to take back the offer. And the two companies you accepted also called the cancel the contract and also sue you for breach of contract."

Li Yilan's fingers shook as she stared down at her toes, unable to believe this was happening. Breach of contract?! The contract did indeed have a section that stated that she needed to keep a good reputation during the period of the contract taking place.

However, that wasn't even the worst news.

The man who was sitting at the middle of the table suddenly spoke up, his voice cold and angry, "Li Yilan, do you realize what you have done? You are merely a newbie to the industry, and not only have you ruined your reputation, but also the company's reputation. You also breached the company's contract that you signed, and we will not waste any resources on you since this is all your doing."

He threw a file folder onto the table, "Sign this now to cancel the contract before you get yourself in more trouble -"

Li Yilan immediately jumped up, shaking her head furiously, "No! No! Please give me another chance! I can't leave the company! You have to help me -"

The man stood up, glaring at her, "If you don't sign it, then we will bring this to court. You can choose. Meeting adjourned!"

Then, he marched out of the room without even looking back, and the other people followed until the only two people left were Li Yilan and her manager.
