Chapter 141 - Big Deal
Chapter 141: Big Deal
Bill’s Nature and Mayhab’s power had one thing in common.
When the condition was met, it was Bill’s Nature that had the upper hand in power as it had the ability to control any metal that the user touched.
“This is your doing, right?”
“Yeah,” Dohyuk answered as he looked at the ‘Heatless Furnace’. As he activated Bill’s Nature, the metal began to move again, but there was no heat. Dohyuk then concentrated on the movement of the metal. It felt similar to the skill, Double, as if he had another body to move and control. However, it was much easier to move than using Double.
About 10 seconds later, Dohyuk now knew how to control it. He then molded the metal to form two pairs of legs, with two front legs to dig into the ground.
‘Dig.’
The metal mole then began to dig deep down. When it was deep enough, it stopped moving and activated its original power. With the nickname, ‘God of Lava’, it sounded like Mayhab was one that controlled lava and melted metals, but Dohyuk realized Mayhab wasn’t too fond of heat at all. It was probably from his power of controlling metal to mirror flesh that made it look like it was melting.
It was through this power that allowed Mayhab to cover his army and the entire region in metal that was buried deep in the ground.
“The ground is shaking.”
“I buried it again, so it’s now growing back.”
Dohyuk then turned. His island was now completely one with the beach. It was only temporary, however, as he had no intention of taking the region with him since the region would be deserted after today.
“Did you tell them?”
“Yes, I fired a signal flare before I came. They should be here by now... Oh, there they are.”
A lot of people were on their way, but they weren’t humans. They were Bermurans.
All Bermurans from the nearby Bermuran city had gathered. Of course, it wasn’t to help Dohyuk at all. Before he came here with Jung Ilgyu, he had offered a deal to Aruga.
“...Eku, the servant of Aruga, greets the God of Unbreakable.”
High Priest of Barkatu knelt against Dohyuk. It was out of respect and honor, very different from five months ago. Yet, it was only natural as Dohyuk was bringing them a huge amount. It was also why Aruga was keeping his treaty with Dohyuk.
The Bermurans were now out of everyone’s attention with more powerful gods coming to the Earth. For the Bermurans, it was through Dohyuk’s help that they regained their lives.
This wasn’t the Bermuran world. With only their city pulled out of their world to be transferred over, they needed to work with others to live in this world. Originally, they could only have humans do their bidding.
However, no one worked for them anymore. And it was now necessary to work with Dohyuk’s city to gain the crops that Dohyuk’s city was producing.
Now, Dohyuk was offering to sell another resource.
“Every metal in this region?”
“Why? Is it too much for you?”
“N-no! Certainly not!”
High Priest Eku was overjoyed. It was the ‘processed’ metal that Dohyuk spoke of. Bermurans needed metal as they too were a civilization, but they had no way to gain any metals as there were no mines around. Even if there were, it was controlled by another god and its people.
“Can you give us some time?”
“Why?”
“We just prepared to move... We never thought about moving in such large numbers. We will need equipment to gather too...”
“Oh, wait a second then.”
Dohyuk then waved his hand. Heeyun and Giwon knew what he meant and backed away, while Eku was a bit slower as he followed Heeyun and Giwon in backing off.
That’s when he saw Dohyuk ‘spitting’ out the port that he had swallowed. Dohyuk then concentrated on the top. About 30 seconds later, metal cubes were placed neatly against each other in front of Dohyuk.
“I can’t do it all.”
It was a good, portable size. He couldn’t change the shape of the entire port at once, but a large portion of it was now transferred into metal, waiting to be moved.
“This should be enough for your people to carry it by hand, right?”
“....”
“Right?”
“Ye...yes.”
“Then let’s get to the payment.”
Dohyuk then signaled to Giwon.
“You send us a man to calculate everything and tell us the cost of all the cubes. If it’s possible, you can also see how many cubes can be made from the entire port. If you can do that, then I wouldn’t have to do this.”
It would take him at least three full days without sleep to process the entire port and the metals in this region.
“There’s going to be more under that sea.”
There were metals that Bill’s men were trying to load onto their shipd that had sunk since the ships were used to summon giants.
“Why there?”
“That’s a long story. Can you people swim?”
“Yes. There are some...”
“Then have them count it and set a price. Do you see that man?”
Dohyuk pointed at Giwon.
“He will stay with you people to check if the price is right and if you need to tell me something, tell him. He’ll decide in my place.”
And with that, Dohyuk continued, “And... I need a deposit first.”
“By deposit, you mean...”
“It will take some time to finish counting, but I need some money right now.”
Of course, it was the coins he was talking about.
“Maybe 20 million coins will be enough for now.”
“...”
High Priest was shocked.
“You can’t do that?”
“N-no. Under our Sun God’s name, we promise that we will pay for the goods. B-but please give us a minute.”
“Sure.” Dohyuk nodded. High Priest then began to pray so he could connect with Aruga to receive required coins. Dohyuk then turned to Heeyun.
“When that’s done, I won’t be here. I have work to do.”
“Then what about the coins?”
“You get it.”
“Me? It’s 20 million!”
Dohyuk pointed, “Go talk to Yuri, and divide it between you two. You two can take half, or slightly more and divide any remaining coins equally to the trainees who are now ‘Scouts’. They need to increase their stats.”
“Y-Yes.”
She looked a little disappointed to share it with Lee Yuri, but she nodded. It was a chance for her to become powerful.
“When that’s done, let them use all the coins to increase the stats, and after getting used to it, the Scouts will depart with Lee Yuri as a leader and you will be her lieutenant to depart on the search.”
“To search for...”
“Anywhere around here. It doesn’t matter where, just find Bill’s men. The goal for the Scouts is to bring back some of them.”
They didn’t need to bring all of them back, but Bill had asked him. So if there were a few who surrendered and had the will to serve Dohyuk, he was thinking of seeing them face to face at least.
“Don’t chase after them too much. Your safety is first and foremost...”
Dohyuk did not stop, but a loud sound drowned his voice out. He turned to the direction. He knew what was in that direction already.
“What in the...”
Dohyuk looked at the black structure.
Casita’s needle.
