Chapter 707 Fight
Loud explosions could be heard all over the domain.
Crimson and purple lightning shot through the air, blazing red flames with golden veins spread through the entire domain, and the sound of fists clashing and bones breaking reverberated through the area.
Dilan was bleeding severely from all over his body. Not a single bone in his body was fully intact, yet, he ignored the unbearable pain that spread through every single cell of his body as he accelerated his healing.
Simultaneously, he forcefully activated the Walk of Thunder and Second Acceleration ability. Mantle of Elements was also activated, summoning a Superior Wind Elemental which enhanced his Agility even further. Dilan exerted the Zephyr Step movement technique without paying any heed to the damage he caused to his own body.
Knowing that he was not fast enough, he used his Green Magic comprehension to control the winds in his surroundings and create more winds to boost his movement speed. This included the speed at which he could attack.
However, even then, it was hardly possible for Dilan to keep the final stage of the perfect Lightning God's Fist technique utilized. He was bleeding all over his body and the crimson lightning currents that tightly embraced his arms didn't help him in the healing process.
On the contrary, the crimson lightning injured him even more than the blazing red flames that engulfed his entire body. The golden veins seemed to replace the veins in Dilan's body because everything was getting destroyed over and over again.
Even the gauntlets formed with Oricalm couldn't endure it any longer. Dilan had long since stored the Hyel Destructo Armor Set in his soul and now Oricalm had to follow.
Oricalm was simply not at a level where it could compete with the tempered fist of one of the strongest existences in the known Universe.
Dilan's body was even less likely to endure the forge of the Lightning Titan but he was long since beyond the point where he could question his body's capabilities. Even if he was physically weaker, it didn't really matter.
There were things he had to do!
Dilan used all possible means to accelerate his speed further and further. He ended up being able to attain a speed that was a tiny bit faster than the Lightning Titan's.
Titan's were not known for their speed, and the Lightning Titan was not too different from that. He was more flexible and had faster reactions than other Titans but he couldn't run much faster. The only thing that allowed him to gain a higher momentum was the utilization of his Lightning God's Fist technique.
And even then, only his arms could move faster. His legs and the rest of his body were still as slow as before.
As for the reason why he didn't use any other technique than the Lightning God's Fist technique, it was pretty simple.
Exiled from his family and scratched out from existence, the Lightning God was not allowed to use any of the Ancient Titan's techniques. Each technique in possession of an Ancient Titan had a long history that would lead back to one of the great predecessors.
Using one of the Ancient Titan's techniques would be like saying that the Lightning Titan had once belonged to that family.
The Lightning Titan was too prideful to rely on the techniques of others, those whom he had once loved…his own family…
However, techniques other than those created by the great predecessors of the Ancient Titans were not possible. Titans were in possession of unique constitutions, constitutions that may as well decrease one's power when used with a technique that was not perfectly suitable for the individual.
That was why the Lightning God began to create his own technique, the first Ancient Titan technique that was not created by one of the great predecessors!
The Lightning Titan wanted to show everyone that he didn't need anyone else. That his own genius was more than enough to perfect the technique, that it was possible to create an Ancient Titan technique that rivaled the creations of the great predecessors.
However…what the Lightning Titan didn't expect to face was a human…a mere Lesser Gods, being able to use the technique he had worked on for tens of thousands of years…or had it already been more? But that was not everything…Dilan was not only able to use his technique. On the contrary, it looked like the technique belonged to Dilan and that his own comprehension was but a bad remake…
What was going on?!
The human he fought was clearly weaker than him. It was impossible for the Lightning Titan to lose, let alone die against someone like the Lesser God whom he was fighting right now.
Yet, oddly enough, the Lightning Titan couldn't help but fight with all his might. It was simply not possible for him to defeat Dilan while holding back his strength.
The weird human fought with all his might, he evaded the vast majority of attacks that rained down on him in quick succession and he fought back.
Dilan inflicted numerous injuries on himself while fighting with all his might, yet, they healed before they suffered horrifying damage once again.
The information of his pain reached his brain constantly and they overlapped because his broken body healed just to break down once again.
Whenever the Lightning Titan hit his target, Dilan's body splattered open. It was almost as if Dilan's body was merely a balloon filled with water. The moment the balloon popped open, everything was unveiled.
However, even before the Lightning Titan could digest that Dilan died, the young human had healed. His body was reattached and his full power was still unleashed.
There was not a single change in his utilization of his attack, either.
He kept using his bare fists and the crimson lightning to fight the physically stronger opponent, despite knowing that he held no chance against the Lightning Titan.
So why…did the Lightning Titan feel like he was losing…as if he had already lost?!
