Chapter 312 - Cooking With Jasmine
Keenan sighed, then glanced at Jasmine, who was now eating the snack he bought.
"Are you hungry?" asked Keenan.
"Yeah, I'll cook later," said Jasmine.
"Why not now? I happen to be hungry too." for some reason Keenan said that even though his family was waiting for him at home and would have dinner together.
"Okay, what do you want to eat?" Jasmine asked as she got up from the chair and walked over to the fridge.
"It's simple because I have to get home at eight o'clock," said Keenan while glancing at his smartphone which showed the time at 06:15 pm.
"I'll just cook the prawns then," Jasmine said as she took a pack of fresh prawns, then cook the rice cooker pot.
Seeing that Jasmine was going to cook the rice first, Keenan took the initiative to help wash the prawns to speed up time. Jasmine smiled at the light-hearted Keenan, she didn't expect a man who looked very neat, elite, to work in the kitchen with her.
'If I were your equal, it would probably be natural for me to want you,' Jasmine thought as she washed the rice in the sink.
After washing the rice, Jasmine immediately put the rice in the pot that had been given the water into the rice cooker, then closed and pressed the cook button.
"Do you like spicy?" Jasmine asked while glancing at Keenan who wanted to see her cooking.
"Not really," said Keenan.
"You'd better wait while sitting down, I'm not comfortable when I'm being watched," said Jasmine, somewhat awkwardly.
Keenan chuckled slightly. "Okay, I'll wait in the chair," he said.
Keenan sat in the chair. From a distance of about seven meters, the man saw the girl he was helping so deftly while cooking, suddenly he remembered that there was no drinking water available in the kitchen.
"Jasmine," Keenan called.
"Yes, What is up?" she asked.
"I'll buy a gallon to stock up on mineral water for you," said Keenan as he got up from the chair.
"Oh, yes," replied Jasmine then continued her cooking activities.
Keenan immediately left the apartment with a strange feeling. being in an apartment with a beautiful girl who wants to cook for him selflessly, as if answering his prayers that he always says to God. Of course, because all this time, the girl who approached him must have been after the wealth he had, always asking for this when he became his lover.
Keenan is not stingy if he just spends a lot of money on his lover, but he can judge that the lover only wants his money, not him. That was the reason that the man was still alone until now. and his meeting with Jasmine seemed to cool his lonely heart.

Kyra looked at her reflection in the mirror with a satisfied smile, she already looked so beautiful wearing a white knee-length dress combined with a white top tied to the stomach. the girl polished her face with natural makeup, then let her beautiful brown hair flow beautifully.
Keyra looked at the clock on her smartphone which showed the time at 06:30 pm, she was nervous and enthusiastic about waiting for Aaron's arrival, who had promised to come at seven. The girl's palms were already sweaty, her heart seemed to be beating faster than usual.
"Gosh, this isn't the first time I've been approached by a man, but why am I so nervous when I'm about to meet Aaron? Could it be that I like him? No... no, we've only met once and I don't know much about him yet." Keyra monologues with herself, she doesn't want to carelessly love a man without knowing clearly about his family origins, because that's what Ethan has always been taught since she was 17 years old.

Keenan returned to the apartment carrying the gallon using his right shoulder, while his right hand held the gallon so it wouldn't fall. when he arrived in the kitchen, he saw that Jasmine had finished cooking the shrimp stir fry and served it on a beautiful rectangular plate, then placed it on the table.
"What do you want to drink?" Jasmine asked, since the rice wasn't cooked, she took the initiative to make a drink.
"Em, just make tea, don't be too sweet," Keenan replied with a smile putting the gallon into the dispenser.
"Wait a minute, maybe in 10 minutes the rice will be cooked," said Jasmine.
"Ready, Boss," Keenan replied with a smile and then sat down on the dining table chair.
until ten minutes passed, the rice was cooked. Jasmine moved the rice into a special bowl for rice, then brought it to the table along with two hot teas for her and Keenan.
Jasmine took a portion of rice with a side dish of stir-fried prawns and then gave it to Keenan. "Hopefully it won't taste too bad, because I'm not very good at cooking."
"From the looks, it looks delicious." Keenan immediately devoured a mouthful of rice and shrimp with his spoon.
Jasmine watched Keenan who was eating without giving a review, he also ate voraciously because he was very hungry. The two of them ate in silence, occasionally glancing at each other and would smile if they accidentally looked at each other.
"This is delicious, it tastes like my mom's cooking," said Keenan after finishing one portion of his food.
"Really?" Jasmine stared in disbelief.
"Yes, Mommy likes cooking. I'm sure, if she meets you, she will invite you to cook together," explained Keenan with a smile. for some reason, he imagined that if his mother liked Jasmine, he would be the first to cheer happily, because Jasmine was the ideal wife.
"That's impossible, I feel unworthy to be around you, even now I feel very unworthy to be your friend," said Jasmine, who had finished eating, then stood up to take the used plates to eat Keenan and herself.
"Why did you say so?" Keenan asked with a frown.
Jasmine got up and took the plate to the kitchen, then put it in the sink.
Keenan immediately followed Jasmine, asking, "Jasmine, why didn't you answer?"
"You'll regret helping me if you find out who I am," Jasmine said as she washed the dishes.
Keenan watched Jasmine reluctantly turn to look at him. "Who are you? What if I still want to be close to you after knowing who you are?"
"No way, there are so many who stay away from me because of my status, you will also be like those who stay away from me." Jasmine smiled faintly, she was very pessimistic about the reality she would get if Keenan found out she was the daughter of a pimp, didn't even know who her father was.
"Just say it, because I hate things that are hidden. And just so you know, I made you my friend not to see your status, I don't care," Keenan exclaimed seriously.
"Really?" Jasmine looked incredulous.
"I even have some friends who come from street, buskers, street vendors, I don't see where they come from, the most important thing is that I am comfortable with them," explained Keenan.
Jasmine looked at Keenan seriously, she seemed not to believe a very elite-looking young man like Keenan, willing to hang out with the lower class.
"My mom is a pimp, she used to sell young girls to married men, to satisfy them." Jasmine finally said, then she walked to the dish rack, put the plates and spoons there, without waiting for a response from Keenan who was still silent in front of the sink.
