Chapter 566 WE ARE HOME NOW
Chapter 566 WE ARE HOME NOW
Gael was only trying to escape from his predicament. It was easy enough for him to move about when he was not shackled by that damned anklet that restrained him from using his power.
But then, he felt there was something wrong when his surrounding became clamorous. People jostled against the other, especially those scientists, they were trembling in fear, as more and more soldiers came.
Gael narrowed his eyes. He didn't think he had made this much of ruckus and more so, those soldiers didn't seem like they were looking for him, but was on guard, as if they were ready for a war.
"What is happening here?" Gael thought his escaped would be smooth, at least, until he reached the exit door.
However, it was too fast for them to realize that he was missing.
Right at that time, as if answering his question, he could hear a roaring sound in the distance, thundering and deafening.
"No way…" Gael muttered under his breath, as he moved to the window and watched the nightmare. It was Killian! In his dragon form!
But then, a crafty look flitted in his eyes, as he broke the window glass and moved toward the dragon, instead of going with the plan that he and Vanesha had agreed.
"Hey! Big guy! Killian! Here! Take me with you!" Gael shouted at the dragon, because he thought Killian was planning to escape, or maybe he wanted to take revenge first by trashing this place, either way, Gael didn't mind, he would love to help to.
However, that was not the thing that Killian would do, because the next thing that happened was; The dragon breathed fire on his direction, which surprised Gael and forced him to move aside, out of the harm way.
Fortunately, he was still nimbly enough to dodge such attack, or else, even though they had the same power with fire, there was no way he could hold back a fire breath from a dragon.
"Crazy bastard!" Gael cursed loudly. "Do you want to kill me?!"
Gael glared at the dragon, but the next second he realized there was something wrong with this mighty creature, it thrashed its body, as if in pain and attacked left and right without thinking. His movement was a little bit weird and unorganized.
What happened with the dragon?
Yet, Gael didn't have time to figure it out because the next thing that he knew was the dragon was breathing fire toward his direction and he must go out from this wretched place, sticking to his original plan.
He should give up the idea to ride on the dragon back when that creature was trying to fry him multiple time.
Soon enough the news about how the dragon had broken free from its shackles and was no longer in its stupor state, reached Sol's ears.
He slammed his hand against the table, as he hollered his order. "Call Liam!"
He was currently in his study room, while Liam was going to see his lycan, since Emily had been crying to him, accusing him for poisoning Eros.
Of course, Liam didn't understand what she was talking about, since he didn't do anything to him, but he needed to make sure that Eros was all right, after all, he just made a deal with the devil.
There was a high possibility that it had anything to do with Aaron. Maybe he cursed this lycan or did something outrageous without him knowing it?
But right now, he could only watch Eros was writhing in pain, as he clutched his chest.
"What you have done to him!?" Emily was very agitated to see Eros was in pain, he wanted to shake Liam's body, but it was impossible for her to do such thing, after all this alpha could end her life in a single moment of recklessness.
"I told you, I don't know!" Liam said through his gritted teeth. He wanted to ask Aaron about this, but he didn't know how to find the devil, after all, it was always him, who would contact him first, making an appearance out of nowhere.
"Call someone to take a look at him!" Emily cried because she couldn't figure out what was happening to Eros.
"You are the only healer in this pack," Liam reminded her, which made her startled and realized that was true, only then she shot him a disdainful glare.
"Thanks to you, I am the only healer in this pack," she said in mocking tone, but her eyes couldn't leave Eros's sorry state. She couldn't come closer, because right now, he was alternating between shifting into his lycan's form or stayed in his human form.
Right at that time, someone came to let Liam knew what was happening in the East Draghar and that Sol was calling for him.
He was not in a good mood to begin with, but hearing that they lost control of the dragon, his expression turned even gloomier right now.
"Damn it! What is happening?!" he was infuriated, but he couldn't do anything much about it, as he strode toward where Sol had been making a crazy phone call with his men in the East Draghar.
Everything happened unexpectedly!
=========================
Before the realm completely collapsed, Chaos managed to bring them out of there to the McKeltar manor.
Currently, they were in the library with fire in the fireplace lit up, warmed their body.
Zuri blanched, because she had never seen how dreadful it was to witness a realm to collapse. The place that she thought was the safest place, the most beautiful place that she had ever seen, but right now, it was no more…
They returned to where it started now, in the McKeltar manor. The very first place that Zuri would call as home.
"Chaos, we are home now…" she said gently, as she caressed his hair. His head was resting on her laps.
