Chapter 59 - Was That Person Better Looking Than Me? Mmm?
Chapter 59 - Was That Person Better Looking Than Me? Mmm?
Their lips parted contentedly.
“Did you bring your clothes?” He asked, his tone pleasant.
Confused, Ji Liao shook his head, “No, you didn’t tell me to bring clothes.”
When he checked around, he found that the Mi Ya ferry was docked in this city’s port, so he thought that they would come back after seeing the night scenery. Did they have to stay out overnight?
He Cheng Ming’s smile was cunning as he pressed against his ear to say, “Then wear mine.”
He had not told him on purpose because he wanted to see Ji Liao wear his clothes. His gaze travelled downwards. The other boy’s long, slender legs were wrapped in pants, allowing him to remember the rapturous feeling from last time. He had to make good use of tonight!
They walked side by side. He Cheng Ming threw his hand onto Ji Liao’s shoulder, the pad of his index finger brushing against his clavicle again and again.
Ji Liao frowned at the itchiness and pushed his restless claws away.
He Cheng Ming was immediately aggrieved and he pouted. “Why don’t you let me touch?” His tone was like a petulant child who hadn’t had enough sugar.
Ji Liao sighed. Why hadn’t he realised before that this boy was so clingy and childish? He stretched out his left hand, his five fingers spreading out, then gave He Cheng Ming a meaningful look. Satisfied, He Cheng Ming covered the hand with his own and interlaced their fingers.
When they saw a bicycle rental shop alongside the street, they decided it was better to rent a bicycle than take a taxi after considering the inevitable heavy traffic during the holiday. It also happened to be a sunny day, perfect for bicycling.
So they went to the shop and rented one. He Cheng Ming got on and Ji Liao sat behind him.
“Do you know how to ride?” Ji Liao was a little worried. He Cheng Ming was a young master, whereas bicycles were so mundane, he was afraid he didn’t know how to use one.
He Cheng Ming gave a “tut” sound. With one hand holding the bicycle steady, he turned his head and pinched Ji Liao’s face. “Doubting your boyfriend, eh?”
Ji Liao didn’t dare and got on obediently.
The two wheels started to turn steadily. As it turned out, He Cheng Ming not only knew how to ride, he also had good technique.
“Baby, where are your hands?” It didn’t take long for someone to come up with a bad idea. He began to pedal with great force as he questioned.
“Why?” Ji Liao stretched out his right hand, which was grabbed by the person in front who fastened it around his waist.
“Hold on to me.” He Cheng Ming chuckled.
Ji Liao’s lips also overflowed with honey. His palms were plastered against the thin cloth that covered the other boy’s abdominal muscles. Using a little bit of strength, he felt the hard muscles.
“Baby, feel free to touch brazenly.” He Cheng Ming said generously, encouraging him to start!
Who was he kidding? What was his training for if not for a day such as this? To show off in front of Ji Liao and make him enthralled until he was unable to remove himself from him.
Ji Liao was not a hypocrite. His own waist had already been thoroughly touched by this boy, so what if he touched his abdominal muscles! His slender fingers began to stir, feeling its way up and down, then left and right, before resting contentedly.
“How is it? Satisfied?” School bully He smiled in high spirits, waiting to be praised.
“It’s okay.” Ji Liao knew what he wanted to hear, but didn’t want to say it.
His head hit the back of the person in front of him as the sudden brake pulled him forward. He Cheng Ming turned his head and inquired, “Just okay?”
There was a slightly annoyed expression on his face. He had trained from winter until now. Of course, on one hand, it was for exercising and improving his immunity, but on the other hand, he still wanted Ji Liao to praise him.
Seems like I have to work harder, He Cheng Ming thought, then continued to pedal.
Behind him, Ji Liao touched his nose guiltily and peered down at his own abdomen. Although he didn’t have any fat, he didn’t have any muscles either. It was soft and flat with no prospects.
Before long, he saw the Mi Ya ferry in the distance. Its silhouette was bigger than he had imagined &#k2014; docked on the edge of the port, it was luxurious and eye-catching.
Once He Cheng Ming found a place to park, he took Ji Liao’s hand and led him aboard.
After a strict three-lane inspection procedure, the two of them went in. The sight stunned Ji Liao. It was his first time having contact with the luxuriousness and exquisiteness of the upper-class society, which left him at a loss.
The person beside him held his waist. He Cheng Ming kissed him and said softly, “Don’t be afraid, you don’t have to greet anyone. Just follow me.”
The ferry had three decks. At that moment, the middle deck was full of long tables covered with pure white tablecloths and various wines and desserts on top. The wine glasses were stacked high as its contents of scarlet liquid shook slightly, full of temptation under the sun.
Accompanied by lingering violin music, Ji Liao followed He Cheng Ming to the rooms on the lower deck.
Tonight, they would be staying here.
As he led Ji Liao to familiarise him with the route, He Cheng Ming returned to the upper deck to have fun.
The upper deck was full of entertainment facilities that included a big casino in the middle. Every year, on activity day, the casino would organise a lottery and reward the winner of the day.
He had learned from He Mu Sheng that this year’s lottery was providing a pair of rings made by a famous Italian master. The master was gay and his lover had departed early. Before it was taken out to be auctioned, the never presented engagement rings were locked away in a safe until the master died.
But the craft was still in its earliest stage and the technique wasn’t sophisticated, so the price wasn’t high.
What He Cheng Ming valued was the meaning behind it.
It was four fifteen in the afternoon and the ferry would leave at five sharp, right when the casino would open.
The participants would receive ten gold coins in advance. After various gambling games, the winner would be the one with the most gold coins.
He Cheng Ming sat on a high chair to wait, his fingertips tapping the tabletop. He ordered a glass of light wine for Ji Liao, then asked, “Are you hungry?”
Ji Liao nodded.
Actually, he wasn’t hungry but he wanted to eat.
He Cheng Ming ordered some snacks that he remembered tasted good. Then, when he lifted his head, he saw Gu Ming Ren striding over.
He raised his eyebrows. “Why are you here?”
Gu Ming Ren greeted Ji Liao, sat down and ordered a glass of wine, a strong one.
“Why can’t I be here?” He asked coldly.
He Cheng Ming looked around but turned back after seeing no signs of Lin Jiang. Thinking about it, was it possible that he was also here for the rings?
But to him, the threat of Gu Ming Ren was very small, so he didn’t think much of it.
“Look, your type.” He looked over, poking fun at the other boy.
Gu Ming Ren ignored him, but his remark drew Ji Liao’s attention. Looking at the man, Ji Liao thought he was a little familiar. Was it an actor? Then, he saw the actor being carried away by a man.
Ji Liao: “...”
Silently retracting his gaze, he looked around and realised there were many celebrities and models. Moreover, they were all very young, and he couldn’t help but take another look!
He Cheng Ming didn’t pay attention to any of them, but he discovered that his wife was staring at others, in particular, at a short woman who was dressed in a revealing outfit! His heart trembled as he immediately used his face to block his sight.
“Who are you staring at?” After saying that, he sucked at the slightly open mouth in front of him.
Ji Liao licked his lips, then smiled at him.
This action was quite seductive. He Cheng Ming’s heart itched, but he was hindered by the tactless Gu Ming Ren sitting beside them. He resisted the temptation to french kiss Ji Liao and rubbed his thumb against the boy’s lips instead.
The sun set as ten minutes passed quickly.
He Cheng Ming told Ji Liao to sit still and not look around randomly until he came back.
Immediately, after he left, Gu Ming Ren turned around and faced him.
“What do you like about him?” He asked Ji Liao and swayed his glass of wine, feeling slightly tipsy.
What charm did He Cheng Ming have that made you like him?
Why couldn’t he? Why couldn’t he get Lin Jiang no matter what he did?
“Mmm?” Ji Liao didn’t respond for a while, but after a long delay, he said, “Because he’s very good to me?”
Actually, he didn’t know what he liked about He Cheng Ming. At first, he was terrified of him. Later, he slowly found the boy wasn’t as scary as he thought. Occasionally, he was very gentle, looking out for him all the time. As time passed, his heart softened.
After that, he gradually developed the desire to be close to him and came to realise the butterflies the boy caused him to have.
Was that like?
It didn’t matter that he liked a boy, even willing to play the role of the one being bullied by letting him kiss and hug wantonly.
He liked him to the point that even after finding out he had unintentionally hurt his beloved father, he was willing to look past it, give him a chance and forgive him.
“Good?”
Gu Ming Ren took off the gold-framed glasses that had slid to the tip of his nose and threw it aside on the table, then he lifted his head to take another mouthful of wine.
Wasn’t he good enough to Lin Jiang?
But that son of a bitch still hated him without reason.
From their very first meeting, he had placed him outside of his circle of friends. On the surface, Gu Shao sounded good, but it was only a facade to hide the criticism in his heart.
Ha, Gu Ming Ren sneered.
But what could he do, he was pathetic and just liked that son of a bitch.
Beside him, Ji Liao didn’t dare to speak. It was the first time he had seen Gu Ming Ren without glasses — he looked much fiercer than usual, even more so as someone who shouldn’t be provoked. It was possible that he looked fiercer than He Cheng Ming!
The two of them sat there for half an hour.
It was easy for He Cheng Ming to get gold coins. His proficiency in calculation and reasoning won him any card game that needed these two skills. A large number of gold coins were pushed toward him and he gathered them into his pouch.
In the last ten seconds of the contest, he successfully won the lottery. After a brief glance at the platinum couple rings, he kept them in his pocket.
He turned, preparing to look for Ji Liao, but unexpectedly bumped into Lin Jiang and the girl who was with him.
Lin Jiang was startled and surprised. “Ming Ge? You’re here too?”
He Cheng Ming felt like he had seen a ghost. Why was everyone here today?!
He made an “mmm” sound and his gaze fell on the pure-looking girl beside Lin Jiang.
Lin Jiang introduced immediately, “This is my new girlfriend, Si Ran.” After that, he was a little embarrassed.
Li Si Ran’s eyes were bright as she called out, “Hi, Ming Ge.”
Shocked by her sweet voice, He Cheng Ming got goosebumps. He didn’t expect Lin Jiang to have such an excessive taste.
With a slight nod, he strode away.
He cut through the crowd, and when he returned to his original seat, he asked Ji Liao at once, “Did you look at anyone just now?”
Ji Liao turned his face away guiltily. So what if he looked, weren’t eyes used for looking?
Feeling jealous, He Cheng Ming held his face and turned it to face his own. “Was that person better looking than me? Mmm?”
Ji Liao conceded defeat and took the initiative to kiss him.
He said with a grin, “Not as good looking as you.” After the praise, he changed the topic. “So, did you win?”
He Cheng Ming raised his eyebrows. “Of course.”
Don’t you know who your boyfriend is?!
“And the prize? What is it?”
“I’ll show you at night.” He smiled mysteriously.
Beside him, Gu Ming Ren scoffed. He held his heavy head and revealed, “Isn’t it just rings?”
He Cheng Ming’s face darkened. What kind of fucking brother was this?! If he had not seen him drinking, he would have dragged him up for a beating!
Although he couldn’t make a move, he still had an invisible knife.
“I just saw Lin Jiang. Oh, and his girlfriend. What was her name...Si Ran?”
The corner of Gu Ming Ren’s lips lifted as he looked at him with half-opened eyes; he didn’t speak, but the sadness in his eyes, as if it were about to overflow, exposed him.
He Cheng Ming couldn’t bear to see him like this but he wasn’t in a position to say anything, which irritated him. After some thought, he felt that something wasn’t right. Based on Lin Jiang’s family background, it would be difficult for him to get the ferry tickets.
Unless...
“Did you help him with the tickets?” His voice was incredulous.
Gu Ming Ren stood shakily, his hair plastered to his face by traces of wine, and he looked unexpectedly sexy.
He swallowed, then said in a low voice, “Yes.”
He even got him two tickets...
