Chapter 221 Diving Into The Sea Of Chaos, Tempering The Body, Soul, And Origin

After shooing the Dark Space Bear away from the Mystic Forest's edge area, Alister walked to the Sea Of Chaos.

As much as he wanted to spend several decades with Zanna, Alister knew that his priority was to become as strong as possible.

He wanted to use the Trinity (Red) talent to create an avatar so that he could manually control it to protect Zanna while he was away. However, that wasn't possible since the avatar was a fragment of his soul.

All of his soul must be tempered by the Chaos Body and if one soul fragment wasn't tempered along with his soul, then the tempering would be incomplete. Not only would it hinder his progress in increasing the attainment percentage of the Chaos Body, but there would also likely be some side effects that he was unaware of.

Alister didn't want to take that risk.

Moreover, Zanna wasn't a delicate flower vase but the second strongest in this world. Alister was confident that Zanna could defend herself and even defeat the Sword Hero.

Even if that wasn't possible, she would at least last long enough for him to return to the Spirit Realm.

The star artifacts might be part of his soul and couldn't be left with Zanna, but the dimensional mirror copy of the Dimensional Mirror could be given to others as a way to contact the original Dimensional Mirror.

As long as Zanna used the dimensional mirror copy to contact him, Alister could leave the Mystic Forest's edge and return to the Spirit Realm as soon as possible.

Even if the heroes somehow isolated the Spirit Realm, the dimensional mirror copy could be used as a coordinate for the space transfer of his Dimensional Mirror star artifact.

And if that wasn't possible, Alister had already planted a coordinate in the outside passageway of the Spirit Realm so if it's sealed, he could just teleport near the passageway of the Spirit Realm and use his negation superpower to remove the seal.

Alister might have left Zanna, but he had already prepared various countermeasures in order to assure Zanna's safety.

Because of that, he wasn't worried about Zanna anymore and focused on improving his usage of the Chaos Body.

"In the end, I can't use the Chaos Body due to my soul, body, and origin being too weak to withstand the perfection stage of the Chaos Body."

"As long as I temper my soul, body, and origin with the law of chaos contained in the Chaos Body, I should be able to use the second stage of the Chaos Body. However, the Sea Of Chaos is only a Seven-Digit Rule Breaker in terms of power so it isn't enough to increase the speed of soul, body, and origin tempering."

"Even if I don't absorb the chaotic waters in the Sea Of Chaos, the Chaos Body can still temper my soul, body, and origin. But that will take for who knows how many years. Even a million years might not be enough to use the Great Accomplishment Stage of the Sea Of Chaos, let alone the Perfection Stage."

"Of course, if I was in the immortal cultivation world, the speed of tempering would be a lot faster due to the presence of the chaos law in the world. But this world only has a chaos element which is far inferior to the chaos law in the immortal cultivation world."

"Although the system can upgrade my Chaos Body talent to a grade higher than black-grade after I complete full-dive simulation with an S-grade simulation score, it might or might not allow me to use the Chaos Body Perfection Stage."

Alister muttered to himself as he started planning for his training.

He was aware that even if he obtained 11% attainment in the Chaos Body and could use the Small Accomplishment Stage of the Chaos Body, the upgrade of the Chaos Body (Black) talent might reset his progress but not completely.

If his Chaos Body became stronger, then his soul, body, and origin needed to be stronger as well to accommodate the chaotic power of the stronger version of the Chaos Body.

In other words, even if he managed to increase his attainment to 11%, he wouldn't be able to use 11% of the Chaos Body's stronger version. But that doesn't mean his body, soul, and origin became weaker. It was only due to the Chaos Body's stronger version being too powerful that his attainment percentage was reduced as his body couldn't use exactly 11% of the Chaos Body's stronger version.

Of course, that was only Alister's speculation and whether that was true or not, it would only be proven after he completed the full-dive simulation and obtained an S-grade simulation score.

"Increasing my Chaos Body's attainment percentage to 11% would also mean that my soul, body, and origin have become stronger and more durable. It's not a wasted effort even if the Chaos Body was upgraded to a stronger version and my attainment percentage is reduced since it wouldn't decrease my overall power but would only decrease my usage percentage of the Chaos Body."

"Furthermore, the threat in this world is likely not the demon king or the heroes but the Goddess of Fantasy. If she is stronger than I have expected, then I need to be as strong as possible to defeat her."

"Unlike in the Martial Arts Fantasy World where I can choose to give up on participating in the full-dive simulation, I cannot discard the Magic Fantasy World as I cannot give up on Zanna."

Although the World Travel Simulator System didn't give Alister any danger as long as he didn't enter the full-dive simulation, that didn't mean Alister was a coward who dared not take any risk.

He was cautious, but he wasn't a coward.

If it was for his wife, Alister dared to take the risk of fighting the Goddess of Fantasy in the full-dive simulation.

"To increase my chances of winning against Fantasia, I can only focus on obtaining stronger talents and increasing my Chaos Body's attainment percentage."

After setting his goal, Alister decisively dived into the Sea Of Chaos and started his body, soul, and origin tempering!
