While Lu Xun stepped away for a while, Song Xing Xing took the chance to look around the house. It was a two-story villa with a large garden outside. Song Xing Xing stood beside the window to enjoy the scenery outside.

"Breakfast is ready."

Song Xing Xing turned around and saw that Lu Xun was standing behind her. "Oh." Turning around, she followed Lu Xun towards the dining area. The smell of good food wafted to her nose, making her stomach grumbled. Her eyes widened in surprise at the low noise. "I got the chance to taste Auntie Wei's cooking every day," Lu Xun said. He clipped some pickles and place them into her bowl. "You should eat more."

Seeing that Lu Xun finally picked up his chopsticks and began to eat, Song Xing Xing was finally able to eat without worrying much.

The food on the table was quickly cleared. Song Xing Xing patted her tummy and looked at the empty plates and bowl in front of her. For a while, she was unable to believe that she had finished everything.

"Go to the living room and watch the TV for a while," Lu Xun said. "I still have a few phone calls to make. Later, I will take you home."

"Oh." Song Xing Xing went to the living room, turned on the TV, and started to go through a few channels. Seeing that there was nothing that could interest her, Song Xing Xing took out her phone and saw a message from Liu Yu Sheng.

"Xing Xing, the agency has already cleared the rumors about Huo Yun Chen."

It was still early and there were not a lot of people online. Song Xing Xing decided to deal with a few easy quests and fight some monsters to level up. 

As she was too focused on the game, Song Xing Xing began to notice the shadow looming behind her. She quickly stood up and held her phone to her chest. 

"You surprised me. Why didn't you make a sound?" Song Xing Xing pouted as she watched Lu Xun. Her heartbeat accelerated and she had to take a few deep breaths to calm down. 

"Sorry." Lu Xun lowered his gaze and pushed the glasses on the bridge of his nose lightly. If one looked closely, one would be able to detect the hint of disappointment in his face.

Earlier, he heard the familiar background music from the game and knew that Song Xing Xing was playing games. He wanted to peek at her ID but failed to get a closer look.

Hiding his disappointment, Lu Xun then asked, "What are you doing?"

"Just playing some games." Song Xing Xing flashed an awkward smile and tried to hide the phone display. "Are you done with your work?"

"The discussion hasn't ended and it will take a while before it's done," Lu Xun said. "Wait for me a little while, alright? I'm sure that it will end soon. I am just waiting for a call from Assistant Bei Yuan."

It was not easy to make her come over to his place. Of course, Lu Xun was not going to let her leave this quick.

"How about going to the library first? You can read some books while waiting for me."

Seeing that Auntie Wei was still around cleaning up the house, Song Xing Xing finally agreed to follow him upstairs.
