The next day, Song Xing Xing followed her sister-in-law out shopping.

As they left, the baby started to cry when he saw that his mother was dressed up nicely, but did not move to pick him up. In the end, Song Yi had to coax their child and let his wife leave.

The two of them went to a popular shopping mall in town. Han Yue Xiu introduced her to her best friend, Li Qin Yao. Song Xing Xing looked at the woman in front of her and thought that she looked somewhat familiar. However, she could not remember where have she seen this woman.

"You didn't bring your daughter along?" Han Yue Xiu asked when she saw that her friend had shown up alone.

"She's busy dragging her brothers for a basketball practice," Li Qin Yao spoke helplessly.

Han Yue Xiu laughed. The last time she met with that little princess, she was dragged to join her in her basketball practice as well. It was well known that the daughter of Zhang Yu Han and Li Qin Yao was a basketball maniac. The little girl would ask everyone she met to play basketball with her.

The two friends exchanged a few words before they started to tour the shopping mall and brought a lot of stuff.

Both Han Yue Xiu and Li Qin Yao are mothers. Therefore, the two of them were busy shopping for their kids.

After walking around for almost four hours, the girls' hands were full of shopping bags. As her sister-in-law had bought her a few new clothes, Song Xing Xing happily volunteered to carry some staff.

It was past lunch hour when they left the mall. The three of them wanted to find something to eat, but most of the restaurants and cafes in the shopping mall are full. At this time, Li Qin Yao's phone started to ring. She went aside to answer the phone and come back with a smile on her face. "My husband reserved a private room at a restaurant upstairs. Do you want to join him for lunch?"

Han Yue Xiu raised a brow. "He's alone?"

"He had a meeting earlier with a few friends, but most of them had left," Li Qin Yao said. "Don't worry. We are not going to disturb anything."

Han Yue Xiu was too hungry and she did not mind being in the same room with others. Moreover, she had not seen her friend for a long time. However, she still turned to Song Xing Xing to ask her opinion. "What do you think?"

"Sister-in-law, you decide. I'll go with you."

Hearing her answer, Han Yue Xiu finally agreed. The three of them went to the top floor. Once they entered the restaurant, the waitress ushered them to the private room. When the girls entered the room, Zhang Yu Han was alone.

Once they had ordered their food, Song Xing Xing stood up and headed to the restroom. As she turned to a corner, a waiter who was carrying a tray of drinks bumped into her. Although the waiter was quick to balance the tray, some of the colorful drinks spilled on her clothes.

The waiter stared at Song Xing Xing's dress in horror. He put down the tray on a nearby table and pulled a few napkins to help her wipe the stain off. Fortunately, this waiter stopped in time as he realized that the customer was a girl.

"Miss, I'm sorry. It's my fault," the waiter apologized.

It was well known that most of the customers who visited the restaurant were people with a lot of money. The waiter was afraid that he may have offended someone big. His salary was big and the perks were great. The waiter still wanted to work at the restaurant for a long time. However, other than apologizing, he did not know if he could do anything.

Song Xing Xing grabbed the napkin from the waiter and started to wipe her dress. She was wearing dark-colored clothes and the stains were not visible. "It's fine." Song Xing Xing sighed. She peeked into the glasses and spoke, "Fortunately, they're just water. It will be alright once I wash it off."

The waiter stared back at Song Xing Xing with his eyes wide as the girl walked into the restroom.

When she came out of the restroom again, the waiter was no longer around. However, she ran into a familiar person. The man came from the opposite direction as he held his phone in his hand tightly.

Song Xing Xing blinked as she thought that perhaps, her eyes were playing a trick on her. Upon meeting the man's gaze, she then figured that he should be as surprised as her.

"President Lu, what are you doing here?" Song Xing Xing was the first to greet him. She thought that it was surprising to run into this man in Y City.

Moreover, why did she keep running into this person everywhere?

He's not going to think that she came to this restaurant to stalk him again, right?

"Having a meal with a friend," Lu Xun spoke. He glanced at the wet patch on her dress and asked, "What happened to you?"

Song Xing Xing followed his line of gaze. "A waiter bumped into me just now and spilled some water." She looked up to him again and smiled. "It's fine now."

Seeing the smile on her face, Lu Xun quickly looked away. He turned around and headed to the room. As he pushed the door, Lu Xun realized that the girl was staring back at him. "What's wrong?"

Song Xing Xing hesitated. "President Lu, are you going into this room as well?"

Lu Xun stared at the number on the door. Once he was sure that he did not stop at the wrong place, Lu Xun immediately guessed what was going on. He turned to the girl again and nodded. "Un. You too?"

Song Xing Xing continued to stare at the man with her wide eyes as the man walked into the room. Then, she stared at the door again and frowned. After a brief hesitation, Song Xing Xing pushed the door open and entered.

"Xing Xing? What took you so long?"

Han Yue Xiu's voice snapped her out of her trance. Song Xing Xing looked at her sister-in-law and then towards her boss.

Suddenly, she started to feel as if this situation was a little strange.

How did her boss appear in the same room as her sister-in-law?
