You're My Only Star

Although she was lying on a comfortable mattress, Xia Yu found that she could not sleep. Her mind was filled with the fan's scolding and how they had looked at her.

She was worried that she would affect Huo Yun Chen's career as an artist.

She wondered if the fans were right. Perhaps, someone plain like her was really not suitable to be with Huo Yun Chen.

The thoughts gave her a stabbing pain in the heart and her tears fell down slowly.

She did not realize how long she has been staring into space. When she finally snapped out of her thoughts, the sun had already come up.

Xia Yu sat up in her bed and decided to clean up and head out. Just as she get off the bed, her phone on the bedside table started to ring.

Her expression changed the moment she saw the caller ID.

Song Xing Xing looked at the tightly closed guest room with a worried look on her face. It was only after Lu Xun held her hand did she finally snapped out of her trance.

"Everything will be alright, I assure you," Lu Xun coaxed. "I know that you are worried about your friends but Xing Xing, first, you need to eat. You are still a pregnant lady."

Song Xing Xing looked at the bowl of porridge and slowly ate her breakfast. Thinking of the two babies in her stomach, she could only force herself to eat a little bit more.

Lu Xun heaved with relief when she saw that his wife have started to eat. He waited for her to finish the bowl of porridge and spoke, "Song Yi contacted me early this morning." He watched her turn to look at him and continued, "We already figured out who was the one who leaked this news."

"Who is it?"

"Yan Yi Xie. He is... Huo Yun Chen's rival for years."

"Yan Yi Xie?" Song Xing Xing frowned, thinking that this name sounded familiar. Then, she remember the last time she had accompanied Lu Xun to an event where she had run into Huo Yun Chen and another man. At that time, they almost got into a fight.

Fortunately, she had noticed that there were a few reporters on the way and had reminded Huo Yun Chen about it. Otherwise, there was going to be some bad news about him.

"We will definitely not let this person escape freely. Don't worry about it. I know what to do."

Song Xing Xing nodded. "Then what about Huo Yun Chen? Didn't you say that you have sent some people to find him in T City?"

A deep frown appeared on his face. "The group had already arrived in T City last night and they were scheduled to enter the village this morning. However, I heard that Huo Yun Chen had entered the woods nearby. It will take time to find him."

As the couple continued to discuss this matter, Xia Yu finally came out from the guest room. Song Xing Xing stood up and called her over. "Xia Yu, come over. Auntie Wei had prepared your breakfast."

"Miss Xia, please, have a seat. We can discuss what we should do after you eat," Lu Xun said.

Xia Yu walked over to the dining table and saw the food on the table. Each one of them looked delicious. However, she was not in the mood to eat.

Seeing the worried look on Song Xing Xing's face, Xia Yu finally sat down and ate a little bit.

Lu Xun stood up and gave an excuse to look after Mr. Fluffball to give a chance for the friends to chat.

Song Xing Xing opened her mouth to speak. However, seeing the dark circle under Xia Yu's eyes made her feel a little distress. The last time she had seen Xia Yu, the girl was so cheerful.

"Don't worry. Lu Xun just told me that the team had arrived in T City and will be looking for Huo Yun Chen. We will be able to get in touch with him soon," Song Xing Xing said. "Actually, this isn't your fault. The person who exposed your relationship was only targeting Huo Yun Chen. But Huo Yun Chen's fans were only thinking of protecting their idol and that was why you were implicated."

"Xing Xing, do you think that Huo Yun Chen's career would be affected after we exposed our relationship?" Xia Yu's voice was weak.

Song Xing Xing was surprised to hear her question. It took her a while to answer her. "It would be a lie to say that there would be no effect. After all, Huo Yun Chen's fans were mostly female. But, Huo Yun Chen has been in this industry for years and has a good reputation. Those who really loved him would definitely stay. They can't stop him from having a relationship."

Although she did not know many things about the entertainment industry, Lu Xun had explained it to her when the news broke. Song Xing Xing could understand a little bit about what will happen.

"But, Xia Yu, whatever it is that you decide to do, you should do it after you have talked to Huo Yun Chen," Song Xing Xing said. "The two of you are a couple. You should discuss things together. I'm sure that Huo Yun Chen would not want you to be sad."

"Xing Xing, I don't know what I should do." Her voice broke.

Seeing the tears stream down Xia Yu's face, Song Xing Xing started to panic. "Don't cry. Whatever it is, I will try and help you in any way that I can."

Xia Yu sniffled. She wanted to believe Song Xing Xing's words that everything would be alright, but when she remember the phone calls she received earlier, Xia Yu did not know whether she could handle this stress.

First, the caretaker who was looking after her mother called to say that a group of people had come over to harass her mother. They called her mother names for having such a daughter as Xia Yu.

Although Xia Yu did not have much affection towards her mother, she did not want those people to go and disturb her. Xia Yu could only instruct the caretaker to bring her mother to a safer place.

Then, her colleague called and told her that Huo Yun Chen's fans were harassing the doctors and nurses. It was only after the police had arrived that they dispersed.

Her relationship with Huo Yun Chen had brought trouble for the people around her and Xia Yu was not comfortable with it.

Xia Yu finally raised her head to look at her friend. "Xing Xing, can you help me with something?"
