You're My Only Star

The Lu twin babies stayed in the incubator for two weeks before they were allowed to be discharged. The most excited person to see the babies were, of course, the grandparents.

The grandparents would take turns to hold the babies and tease the obedient babies.

Then, both Ye Ling Feng and Zhen Wen Yu would stand by Lu Xun's side to watch him change the babies' diapers as well as to care for them.

Ye Ling Feng looked at the serious look on her son-in-law's face and became satisfied. In the past few weeks, Ye Ling Feng had watched Lu Xun running back and forth to look after Song Xing Xing and their babies.

At the same time, he had to look after both sides of the families who came to visit them. In the end, Song Xing Xing's room had turned to his office where he would look at the documents while Song Xing Xing was asleep.

Seeing the man's care and devotion towards her daughter made her heart warm. In Ye Ling Feng's opinion, there was no better son-in-law other than Lu Xun.

After a month, Song Xing Xing's confinement period finally ended.

The babies and the mother finally returned to the house. In just a month, her body had recovered well. Although the extra weight was still there, it would not take a long time to lose them.

With both mother and children coming back to the house, Ye Ling Feng and Zhen Wen Yu both became busy with the babies' full moon celebration. A lot of invitations were sent out and the Orchid Hotel in Capital City was chosen to hold the banquet.

Their family and friends came all over the place to attend the banquet.

On this day, the babies sleep soundly in their baby cot as the others came to look at them.

Lu Xun glanced at his girls and a warm smile appeared on his lips. These days, the babies' skins were no longer as red and wrinkly as the first time he saw them.

After drinking their mother's milk, their body grew a little plump and their cheek was chubbier. When they were awake, their eyes would twinkle like stars. In this way, Lu Xun thought that their girls resembled their mother a lot.

This was Song Chen and Ye Ling Feng's first two grandchildren. Naturally, there were a lot of people who came to see the babies. Moreover, with Lu Xun's status in Capital City, there were a lot of people who came to take this chance to make a connection with him.

Unfortunately, both Huo Yun Chen was unable to attend this banquet as Xia Yu's internship in F Country had begun a few weeks ago. They could only send their gift to the babies through Huo Yun Chen's manager.

Zhang Yu Han came with his wife and kids to look at the twin babies. Seeing how Lu Xun was busy running around here and there made him remember the first time he hold his daughter.

However, with Lu Xun's twins, it was expected that he will be busier.

The two friends continued to chat about parenthood until Zhang Yu Han had to leave to look at his daughter who was creating trouble with her friends.

Long Fei arrived not long after with a generous gift for the babies. He peeked at the sleeping babies and the corner of his lips turned into a smile.

The last time he talked to Lu Xun, his friend was still worrying about his children's health. Now that he came to see them, Long Fei could sense that the girls will live a healthy life.

At this time, the elder sister woke up. She stretched up her body and finally, her gaze stopped at Long Fei for a long time.

Zhen Wen Yu saw that her granddaughter was looking at Long Fei and thought that it was an interesting scene. This was the first time that Zhen Wen Yu had seen her granddaughter stare at someone for a long time.

"Would you like to try and hold her?" Zhen Wen Yu asked. 

Last time, Long Fei had stayed in C Country and had come to their house to have a meal. Zhen Wen Yu was quite familiar with her son's friends and could talk easily with them.

Long Fei glanced at Lu Xun's mother and smiled. "The baby is too small. I don't think that I can hold her."

"It's alright. I can teach you."

Seeing that the baby was still looking at him, Long Fei finally agreed. With Zhen Wen Yu's help, Long Fei managed to carry the small baby in his arms. He was very careful to hold her. 

The baby and the adult continued to stare at each other curiously. No one knew what they were thinking about. The baby continued to move her mouth and babbled in her soft voice.

Long Fei patted at the baby's thigh softly and asked, "What is her name?"

"This one is the eldest. She is called Lu Jing. The youngest one is Lu Xia."

"They are good names."

"You seemed very good with a baby," Zhen Wen Yu said. "Perhaps, soon, you will meet your other half and have your kids as well."

Long Fei only smiled.. He thought about the girl he had been searching for and wondered if he would be able to meet her again.
