You're My Only Star

After spending two weeks in F Country, Huo Yun Chen headed back and was immediately swamped with work.

Brother Xiang had arranged a packed schedule for him to promote his upcoming album.

These days, Huo Yun Chen would often spend his time at the office as well as the studio to check on his next album's progress.

Once his album came out, Brother Xiang had planned to let Huo Yun Chen join in a few shows for promotional purposes, and then, he will have to prepare to go on a tour across the country.

After working hard with his team, the preparation finally ended. They were only waiting to release the album.

That night, Huo Yun Chen had gone to the restaurant to have dinner with his team. They visited a hot pot restaurant and drink happily.

As everyone around him was chatting happily, Huo Yun Chen lowered his gaze to text his girlfriend. It was currently early in the morning in F Country and his girlfriend was having a late breakfast after catching up with her sleeping time.

Seeing that Xia Yu had sent him a photo, Huo Yun Chen quickly clicked on the file. Instantly, Xia Yu's smiling face appeared on his phone screen.

Perhaps, it was because she had woken up, Xia Yu's hair was styled into a messy bun. Her neckline was wide and his attention was on her collarbone. She was only wearing a simple faded-out t-shirt but Xia Yu still looked very pretty.

His eyes narrowed and a helpless smile appeared on his lips. It seemed that a certain someone was sending this picture to tease him.

Huo Yun Chen could feel a certain feeling build up. His throat bobbed as he continued to look at the picture.

"Brother Huo."

Hearing someone call his name, Huo Yun Chen quickly put his phone aside and looked up. In front of him, the music engineer stood up, raising his glass at him. Everyone else was looking at him with a smile on their faces.

"I hope that this album will be a success," the man toasted at him.

Huo Yun Chen lifted his glass and drank. The atmosphere around them was very lively. Everyone was discussing his new album and their expectations of it.

The man who toasted him earlier saw that Huo Yun Chen continued to lower his head to look at something. He laughed and spoke, "Brother Huo, what are you looking at? It seemed that you have been busy with something from the very beginning."

Lin You who was sitting beside Huo Yun Chen laughed. "What else do you think he's doing? Of course, he's texting his wife."

The people in the room exchanged their looks. They laughed happily and started to tease Huo Yun Chen.

Almost everyone in the room had met Xia Yu during her visit to the studio and had seen how loving the couple can be. Each time that Xia Yu visited the studio, Huo Yun Chen would not hesitate to feed everyone with dog food.

"It's good to hear that your relationship with Sister-in-law is going well," someone commented. "Brother Huo, are you planning to propose to sister-in-law if this album is going well?"

Hearing the question, the room had suddenly turned silent. Everyone was waiting to hear Huo Yun Chen's answer.

The celebrity flashed a mysterious smile. "I'm not going to reveal anything. Of course, if there's any good news, I will invite everyone."

The atmosphere in the room turned livelier again with his answer.

As they continued to eat and drink happily, someone from the team mentioned Yan Yi Xie's new album which was set to release next week.

Yan Yi Xie and Huo Yun Chen had debuted around the same time and had almost the same style. Because of that, the netizen had always compared them two ad their fans have been against each other.

After Huo Yun Chen's dating news came out, there were a lot of fans who were not too happy with the news.

With how Huo Yun Chen had responded and protected his girlfriend, the so-called fans decided to boycott his album. It was said that some fans had thrown away and burned his previous CDs and merchandise to protest.

With this news, Yan Yi Xie's popularity had risen. The fans who had supported Huo Yun Chen, in the beginning, had shifted their attention to Yan Yi Xie.

After all, Yan Yi Xie was someone who had a good reputation in the industry. Each time he showed up in front of his fans, he was always so gentle. Though he was linked to a few popular artists before, Yan Yi Xie had quickly denied the allegation and said that he wanted to focus on his career and make his fans happy.

Huo Yun Chen listened to their discussion quietly.

He lowered his head and drink some wine as he thought of how Yan Yi Xie had revealed to the press that he was dating Xia Yu.

Although he did not mind that his relationship was exposed, Huo Yun Chen was still holding grudges after Yan Yi Xie had exposed a few news about Xia Yu and caused her trouble.

Sensing that someone was sitting beside him, Huo Yun Chen looked up and saw that it was his manager, Brother Xiang.

"Xia Yu wanted me to remind you not to drink too much," Brother Xiang said.

Huo Yun Chen laughed and put down his glass. "Alright. I know."

Thinking of Xia Yu's worried face, Huo Yun Chen decided not to drink too much. He still needed to call his girlfriend after the dinner with his team ended.

"Are you ready? Yan Yi Xie will definitely try to do something once he figured out our plan." Brother Xiang looked at him with a serious look on his face.

"It will be alright. Everyone had already done their best to work on this album. I have confidence that we have already done our best. We will beat him with this album." Huo Yun Chen looked at his manager and his lips curled into a lazy smile.. "Brother Xiang, we will win this Golden Music Award with this album."
