You're My Only Star

When the night comes, Xia Yu finally understood Huo Yun Chen's words when he said that he was hungry, but will have to feed her first.

The man tempted her into bed and they rolled around the sheets for a long time. If she did not remind him that she still need to head to work in the morning, perhaps, the two of them would fool around longer.

After helping her to clean up, Huo Yun Chen carried her into bed and cuddled her to sleep.

He stared at the person in his embrace and couldn't help but to peck at her face a few times, causing her to giggle.

Seeing that a certain someone could only open her eyes to a slit, Huo Yun Chen decided to stop teasing her. However, it has been a long time since the last time he gets to hug his girlfriend to sleep. With Xia Yu in his embrace, Huo Yun Chen found that he was no longer that tired.

"Xia Yu."

"Hmm?" Her voice was soft and thick with sleepiness. She tried to open her eyes to look at him but her eyes were not listening to her.

"I have talked to Brother Xiang and the management," Huo Yun Chen spoke. "This time, I'm planning to stay here longer and head back with you just before the award."

Brother Xiang had wanted him to take a break after Yan Yi Xie's episode. Initially, Huo Yun Chen was ready to take a week's break and return to work, but facing the reporters who continuously ask him about the case was giving him stress.

After a discussion with the management, they have agreed to let him take a longer break. Then, he will make his appearance again for the award.

"Really?" Xia Yu opened her eyes to look at him. "Is that allowed? Don't you have a lot of work to do?"

Huo Yun Chen laughed. "It will be alright. After all, Yan Yi Xie's trial was expected to start for another few weeks." He looked at his girlfriend and chuckled. "Someone said that I can quit the entertainment industry and work hard to provide for the family. Miss Xia Yu, don't tell me that you have changed your mind?"

"You can quit if you wanted to quit. I can work harder to support you." Xia Yu said with determination in her eyes. "In fact, your cooking had improved so much. You'll make a very good househusband."

Huo Yun Chen could not resist leaning over to kiss her face again. "Xia Yu, when we return to the country together, I'll bring you to see my parents, alright?"

The thought of meeting his parents made her anxious.

Even with his assurance, Xia Yu found that she was unable to keep her calm. Then, Huo Yun Chen dropped another bomb.

"Then afterward," Huo Yun Chen continued. His hand found hers and he intertwined their fingers together. "Let's get married, alright?"

Xia Yu pulled away and stared at her boyfriend with a dazed look on her face. At this time, she was convinced that she had fallen asleep and this talk was only something that she had dreamed about. Xia Yu pinched herself on her arm and frowned.

The pain was telling her that everything was real.

When she woke up in the morning, breakfast was already being served in the dining room. The house was clean and the soiled bedsheet from last night was in the washing machine. The man had even helped her to wash her undergarments.

Initially, Xia Yu had forbidden him from washing her undergarments but the man was too stubborn. Each time that she woke up in the morning, Xia Yu would find that everything was already done for her. In the end, she could only let it go.

Xia Yu would then head to the hospital and work. Whenever she returned home, Huo Yun Chen had already prepared her meal. Whenever she had to cover the night shift, the man would come to the hospital and deliver her healthy meal.

On her off day, the couple would head out for a walk and visited many places in F Country together.

The couple was living together in F Country like this for several weeks until it was time to head back. The award was going to start soon and Huo Yun Chen will have to make some preparation as he was scheduled to show up on stage and performed.
