One Piece: Gambling to The Top

In the sea, next to Impel Down, a big fishman got out of the surface. On his shoulder, there was Ace, who looked tired. 

"I was almost out of breath." Ace said. 

"I thought you can handle it." 

"I know. But I took a nap in the middle of the way." Replied Ace with a yawn. 

"You are weird, Ace San." 

Jimbe rolled his eyes as he looked over Impel Down. Many ships were coming with the marines flags. It seems that Sparrow's action of freeing everyone in the sixth level had created a catastrophe, which was more important than the war with Whitebeard. 

Not only the marines would do everything to stop the most dangerous criminals. But the World Government would send its agents and army, which is made of very strong people. 

"Not as much as that…" Ace lifted his eyes to look at the stars. "Captain Jack Sparrow." 

Ace then looked down. Jimbe's cheeks started turning red. 

"Can't believe he had us say Ay Ay Captain." 

"Wow." Ace raised his eyebrows. 

"What?" 

"I never knew that Fishman can blush." Ace said with a carefree expression. 

Jimbe seemed to get more embarrassed because of that comment.  

"Hey, do you want for me to sink you!?" 

"You can be Tsundere too." Ace seemed to be amused. 

"Wait until we get out of here." 

Jimbe growled as started swimming, using his superior speed to avoid the Sea Kings. 

This place was near the Calm Belt. Meaning, it would be hard to survive. Especially for the other criminals who aren't Fishman. 

As Jimbe left the sight, a giant Sea King got out of the water. It let one last shriek before it died. 

The mouth of the king was opened, and if one focused, a creature that was smaller than its tooth jumped out of its mouth, flipping and landing on the top of its head. 

Josh let a sigh of relief as he heard the notification. 

[Ding, the gamble is complete. Rewards are transferred to the host.] 

He got 3 boxes with legend rank items and 3000 points. Added that to the 10.000 points he had gotten from stealing money, he has a little bit over 13.000 points. And once he goes back, he decided to sell the gold he had stolen from the banks. 

Josh looked at the body of the Sea King. A giant goat beast with golden scales, and it was 5 miles long. 

He remembered an item he has in the storage. It was something he won when he had been attacked by Blackbeard — RIP. 

[The Devil Heart] 

It was an item to create a Devil Blood once it's applied on the blood of a certain animal, or an item or element. 

Now, thinking about it, some may say that Mythical Zoan's are the best fruits to choose from. 

However, what's the largest creature in the world that is known to have the ability to destroy an island with raw strength. 

'Now, I think about it. They never showed an Ancient Zoan of Sea King. It would be overpowered. But I won't miss it.' 

Opening his palm, Josh observed how an item of heart, with two horns, appeared on his hand. 

He looked bellow his feet, to the seaking in which Josh cut his internal organs. It was as long as a mountain, or longer. 

'Feels good to beat these things now.' He rubbed his jaw, remembered how he had been bitch slapped across the Calm Belt by one of them.  

Josh put the Devil Heart on its blood. The item shone. The next second it turned into a fruit with a weird texture on it. 

'Now, It's time to leave.' 

Josh found that he can't put it in the system storage, since only items won from the system can be put in. He put it in his coat before he made a long leap. Using the Moonwalk, Josh reached the level of the clouds. 

He looked down, deciding to see Impel Down for the last time. 

He could see a few explosions as marine ships approached. It seems that the inmates had taken the battle outside. 

"It was nice to meet you. But I'm no longer captain." 

Josh's appearance changed to its original one. Josh took a deep breath. 

"I miss me." 

He then turned into his demon form. Flapping his wings, he pierced the sky and took the special compass. Thinking about Water 7, he turned into a red streak of light.

Mikita and the girls were looking at the Vice Admiral that came to pick up Josh, for the war. Mikita had already been against that war since she never liked the World Government. Same as the other girls. 

However, Josh wasn't here. He had gone to do his crazy plans as Jack Sparrow, who was in jail now. 

Mikita and the others knew that they shouldn't say something that screwed Josh's position. 

So, they acted as they should have too. 

"It's okay Marianne…" 

Marianne was crying, Kalifa was patting her back. Robin was crossing her arms, seeming to be pissed off, not on the Vice-Admiral, but someone else. 

"Where is he?" the Vice Admiral asked. 

"Can't you see that we are looking for him too!" Mikita screamed. "He said there is that war, and he is going to have some fun!" 

"Have some fun?" the Vice Admiral didn't seem to understand. 

"Don't you fuck girls in marines! Pussies!" Mikita yelled. 

Kalifa nodded. "They don't. They fear the sexual harassment penalty." 

The Vice-Admiral raised his eyebrows, seeming to finally realise it. "Well, I should report that he has escaped. In that case, I'll ask you to surrender—" 

"You're looking for me?" 

Came voice from behind. 

Josh was walking, wearing his usual outfit. Long black leather coat, jeans, and black shirt with brown boots. 

He was yawning. "Why are crying?" Josh asked Marianne. 

Using his ability to read the thoughts, Josh could conclude what happened. 

'The marines came here earlier, and they are acting as if I was cheating on them, to make an excuse why am I not here.'

"Where have you been?" the marine asked. 

"Having some fun." Josh raised his arms. "Sorry girls, but I don't know If will come back alive. I had to taste a redhead for once." 

The girls looked at him, eyes wide open. They hadn't even told him about their plan, and he said he made out with a redhead. It made them doubt, and Josh frowned when he saw that on their faces. 

"Wait, for real?" Mikita asked. 

Josh furrowed his eyebrows at her. Did she forget that he can read thoughts?

Josh then frowned when Mikita made a long smile. Mikita's ideas were like this. 

 'I have the urge to give him a slap.' Mikita smiled. 'Now, dodge.' 

Josh, knowing that he has just broken Impel Down, needed to make a good excuse why he wasn't here. 

The Vice-Admiral saw how Mikita started crying. She slapped Josh, before turning and running. 

Josh put his hand on his jaw and patted it. 'And she is laughing inside that house. Fine, I'll slap her ass later.' 

"You're an asshole, you know that?" the Vice-Admiral said as the rest of the girls turned and entered. 

"The redhead was your mom, you know that." Josh turned and stretched his arms up. "Let's go. We have a war to attend." 

The Vice-Admiral clenched his fists and looked at the ground. He knows that he can't piss off the Warlord, and he knows that he can't fight him without losing with one punch. 

But as a man, he couldn't swallow his pride and handle it. 

"Wait!" The Vice-Admiral screamed in an imposing voice. 

Josh turned his head and looked at him bored. "What?" 

"My mom is not a redhead." He said. 

The marines who had been excited to see what their leader is going to do raised their hands and covered their face. 

Josh let a long sigh. 

"I'm too old to argue with you." 

He then jumped and landed on the sail, lying down.
