Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1767: Aggressive

Chapter 1767: Aggressive

The command issued by the Supreme Sage reinforced by the unmistakable aura of the Seven Utmost Towers was only received by those with Soul Perception, but Wei Wuyin's response was as clear as a siren in the dead of night to everyone within his spiritual range!

Everyone!

Wei Wuyin's spiritual sense range was immensely far-reaching and vast, so there was no one within the Growing Immortality Galactic Zone of a sufficient cultivation base that hadn't heard him, focusing the attention of those who were unaware of the disastrous happenings of the Knightly Dao Pavilion to it.

Most of the conflict was self-contained, only Su Yi and the mountain-slinging female Sage's battle had been brought outside, creating brief havoc, yet their attacks or attempts at fleeing were concentrated, not widespread and destructive, so they avoided a lot of initial attention. This was no longer the case.

Shang Liu's pupils constricted with the heart in his chest pounding furiously like thunderous drums. The aura of the Alchemic Edict was impossible to miss! As a native of the Utmost Purity Galaxy, he was able to identify its origins immediately—the Zenith Creation Tower!

Why was an external Zenith Tower interfering with matters of the Growing Immortality Galactic Zone overseen by the Zenith Growth Tower? The Zenith Creation Tower was the leading figure of the Containing Creation Galactic Zone!

With his cultivation, Shang Liu was unable to sense the extraordinarily subtle aura of two Resonant Soul Realm experts. This was also a test of Wei Wuyin's strength. Only Resonant Soul Realm experts, Enlightened Sages, or those who cultivated unique Soul Perception-developing Cultivation Methods can observe the identity of the Supreme Sages. However, soon after he identified the origins, his eyes widened as if a veil was pulled away, exposing two utterly godly auras that shook the soul and resonated with the heavens.

Wei Wuyun hadn't just said those words. His Spiritual Aura permeated the region, viciously pulling away their subtle concealments like a massive hand, exposing their identities to all observers with unregulated ruthlessness.

Even the backer of Su Yi was caught in the crossfire of Wei Wuyin's rage; within the hundred million miles radius of Wei Wuyin, dozens of mirror-like or strange artifacts of Spiritual Power were exposed, no longer concealed in the folds between fixed and stable space, exposing all those spectators that tried to hide themselves. No one was spared.

The spiritual auras of Sages, Enlightened Sages, and Supreme Sages that were idly enjoying or tensely watching the show from the comfort of their homes were ousted one by one. It was clear that the events of the Knightly Dao Pavilion didn't just have a ton of observers, which was to be somewhat expected, but that some of these cultivators from all over were fully aware of and had their hands in these ongoing events.

The Resonant Qi Talisman used earlier by the mountain-slinging Sage should have forced the Zenith Growth Tower to act or at the very least, the superior forces of the Growing Immortality Galactic Zone to step in, especially given the unrestrained usage of Supreme Sage level power that could have led to disastrous consequences.

They hadn't acted when Wei Wuyin resolved the issues, killing the bow-wielding Sage assassin either, sending the other assassin away, or when he revived the victims of the assault, and that was largely because there were unspoken and unwritten rules. The bow-wielding Sage assassin had 'attacked' Wei Wuyin with an area-of-effect ascension art that would have brought harm to his entourage, so there was no need to involve themselves due to the Sage's egregious sign of stupidity, especially since there was a question mark on Wei Wuyin's exact cultivation.

He was a rising enigma, especially to the prominent forces, especially because the three news outlets—the Fortuitous Gazette, the Blessed Sentinel, and the Observing Chronicles—hadn't placed him on any specifically designated Supreme Sage ranking list, such as the stupendously rarely updated Supreme Entity Ranking.

However, he certainly had irrefutable connections with a Supreme Sage of the Incandescent Star Palace, the sole operator of the Star Bridge.

Perhaps the lack of his name on the ranking contributed to their hesitation and these subtle tests. But Wei Wuyin's actions thus far had greatly supported his identity as a Supreme Sage!

When the variety of spiritual observing spells and tools was exposed, the situation became awkward as more eyes peered over from around the galaxy. Some of those observing hastily severed the link as if afraid of revealing their identities. However, that was far too late.

Su Yi was taken aback by everything that was unfolding. Did this Wei Wuyin foreigner just tell a Supreme Sage-level Dao Enforcer of the Seven Utmost Towers to get out of his sight in the most provocative words?! The planet-sized balls on this guy!

More importantly, when did Wei Wuyin grab Shang Wanqing? And what about the Seven Greater Spirits of Sky Harbor Mountain, Dai Yangdao—the Yang Supreme Taoist, and Wu Yintian—the Last Yin Empress? Those nine figures were confident in holding Wei Wuyun back despite his Supreme Sage strength! Did they fail? He hurriedly checked for the items that held their quintessence, but his expression immediately changed as he realized they were missing!

Not just that! EVERYTHING WAS MISSING!

Su Yi's mind went blank. Reasonably so. When? How? Who?!

The mountain-slinging Sage saw this opening, and normally, they would take this opportunity to flee, but without certain external influences affecting them, they held no qualms about taking advantage of a lapse of attention, and they struck with full force, unleashing their strongest Ascension Art that manifested as a mountain-carved earthen spear that split the void and generated a gravitational force that exceeded any Solar Star.

Su Yi was immediately locked on, his heart roared with panic and a sensation of deadly crisis as he hastily turned, unsheathing his sword in one fluid motion, releasing a single thin line of sword light that engulfed the stars of the starry skies. A heavy explosion erupted. A figure was blown away, while one stayed still.

The figure that was sent hurtling through the Dark Void was the white-robed swordsman, Su Yi! Meanwhile, the one that remained unmoved had her eyes widened in disbelief as a bloody line extended from the top of their head downwards, threatening to split apart.

Wei Wuyin's eyes darted over. Then, he lightly breathed out a wisp of Alpha-Paragon Energies infused with the mutated Minor Law of Origin, focusing on the restoration principles of wood and water.

Since ascending, Wei Wuyin's innate energies had undergone a drastic change, and while the foundational basics of physical, mental, essence, and spiritual remained, the advanced version of these energies had taken four subtle forms—Draconic-Paragon Energy, Eden-Paragon Energy, Alpha-Paragon Energy, and Omega-Paragon Energy. These energies were interchangeable, and they served as a solid distinction of the Astral Souls' newfound energies perfectly intermixed with his Stellar-Paragon Physique, granting them each that inexhaustible quality with the blessing of the Mortal, Mystic, and eternal.

The mountain-slinging Sage, who was on the verge of splitting into two down to their very Soulguard, effectively being killed by a sword, was salvaged by Wei Wuyin's last-minute interference, and then her body dissolved into a hazy white.

His act of saving the Sage hadn't gone unnoticed by the Supreme Sages, but the reeling Su Yi was too busy to determine the exact fate of the mountain-slinging Sage, only satisfied with dealing with the immediate threat. He returned his focus to Wei Wuyin and the two Supreme Sages.

Wei Wuyin placed Shang Wanqing's head in a more comfortable position after she moved while in slumber, sending his gaze directly toward the Dao Enforcer that dared to carry an Alchemic Edict of the Seven Utmost Towers, ordering him to retreat and back down. He silently waited.

He didn't have to wait for long, however. The Dao Enforcer was challenged, so what else could they do but retaliate while being observed? But immediately launching into a verbal argument before these lesser cultivators would be somewhat embarrassing and befitting to his status.

And yet, the alternative was to launch an attack and teach this foreigner a lesson, reminding him where he was and who he dared to speak to like that. This wasn't any better. After all, he was a Dao Enforcer of another Galactic Zone, and couldn't just send an attack of their level to do so.

Act first. Deal with the consequences later.

"The Seven Utmost Towers have decreed that all Resonant Soul Realm cultivators must leave the Armored Boon Stellar Region at once! No longer involving themselves in the matters of the Ascended beings of the region. Do you accept this edict?!" The Supreme Sage Dao Enforcer's voice was like rumbling thunder in the darkest night, utterly terrifying and explosive, shaking the very foundation of space and time, and causing the heavens to quake! This relied on his true strength!

"Good to know," Wei Wuyin sneered. Then, he looked at Su Yi while ignoring the Dao Enforcer entirely. He wasn't a Resonant Soul Realm cultivator, so he genuinely didn't care. He wondered what Su Yi would do. There was a protective aura surrounding him carrying the resonance of heaven, clearly a defensive tactic by a Supreme Sage to guard against him.

He was going to take Shang Wanqing with him. He was curious if he would jump in the fire to save her, bringing out his hidden backer.

Su Yi, however, decided to take a diplomatic route. "Shang Wanqing is a native Ascended being of the Armored Boon Stellar Region and the Utmost Purity Galaxy. Will the tower not enforce its edict? Allow her to be taken away by a foreigner of unclear origins?" Immediately, he directly questioned the Seven Utmost Towers, placing them on the spot.

If the Dao Enforcer's facial expression could be observed at this moment, it was bound to be quite unsightly.

"Haha. Pathetic," Wei Wuyin remarked with a grin. The Supreme Sage Dao Enforcer of the Zenith Creation Tower coldly stated: "No native Ascended being will be taken out of their Stellar Region without their explicit permission. ALL SUPREME SAGES, depart immediately!"

"Depart? Immediately?" Wei Wuyin's eyebrows lifted with surprise. He spat two words: "Make me."

"..." Su Yi.

"..." Everyone.

Wei Wuyin was too aggressive! He was challenging the Seven Utmost Towers! What was he thinking?!

What shocked everyone was that the Supreme Sage Dao Enforcer remained silent. What was looking to be the beginning of an epic battle was slowly cooling down with each passing second! Why?

Su Yi's expression gradually grew darker. A battle between monstrous beings was not what he wanted. Wanqing was out in the open, and her life was not ensured if a fight was to break out.

As for asking his greatest ally to act, that would expose far too many secrets and lead to an explosive series of events in the entire galaxy. He couldn't do so easily, but he simultaneously couldn't allow Wanqing to be taken away. There was no way this foreigner wouldn't dual cultivate with her the first chance he got. The thought of her being defiled by another was bringing out the hell in his heart.

The situation was growing increasingly difficult to handle.

Fortunately, Wei Wuyin was not one to elongate these things. With a soft heft of Shang Wanqing's unconscious body, he moved toward Su Yi!

In a flashing flap of the Infinite Void Wings, he appeared directly before Su Yi as if space, time, and the void were his dominion. In a way, it was! The Blessed swordsman's eyes widened uncontrollably as a wall of resonant qi of the heavens divided the two. The wall was drawing strength from the heavens!

Wei Wuyin smiled, "You want my Wanqing? Then, we can handle this as those in the Utmost Purity Galaxy often do: Let's play a game."

"A game?" Su Yi's brows furrowed, but there wasn't a trace of fear in his eyes. Given his past achievements, he had faced far greater beings than Wei Wuyin in his heart. If not for his weak cultivation base, he would have dealt with this starry-eyed alchemist with a single swing of his sword.

He understood what Wei Wuyin was implying, but he also knew that he wasn't speaking to him. In the eyes of Wei Wuyin, the Resonant Soul Realm expert guarding him was the target.

"No. I'm talking to you," Wei Wuyin clarified as his gaze focused entirely on Su Yi's sharp and dark pair of eyes. The slumbering Shang Wanqing still rested in his arms.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"..."

"If you win, I won't intervene in Shang Wanqing's choice, and you can ask me to perform a reasonable task. But if I win…"

"I accept," Su Yi fearlessly agreed.

"Oh? Mind if I join?" A voice echoed through the world, originating from one of the observer tools.
