THE CEO AND ME!

Her heart was thumping against her chest as she thought of so many things in just a second but feared to let out anyone of them.

"Why do you care if that little girl is alive or dead??"

He questioned her back, mockingly eyeing her frame. She was too weak consciously to handle his outburst at that moment.

"You were denying to land any help to Serena last night?"

And Tinsley closed her eyes, knowing how cruel and mean that was of her to react in such a way but she was caught by the webs of jealousy and possessiveness.

"Be happy to know that she is not mine...I knew you were anticipating about that internally, you could never be happy for me..."

Kian spat at her and resorted to drinking again. Tinsley could not perceive his words right away.

The fact that the child of Serena was not his, of course, it did make her feel happy and relaxed. She did not know that why would her husband want to associate himself with the child of some other woman!?

But it did not matter now...nothing mattered right at that moment because she was just too tired and fed up with all the pain she was bearing all by herself.

She needed someone...her husband to be there for her now. She was exhausted and out of nowhere, she broke down, even shocking Kian, himself.

"Please!!! I beg you to stop!!"

Kian was taken aback by her sudden breakdown as she started to sob and wail out those words.

"I can't...I really can't!!!"

Tinsley held onto her chest as if her heart was paining and let the tears flow freely out of her eyes without care.

"What is it?"

Kian implored, knowing something was wrong. He needed to know what was wrong without her creating such a nuisance.

But Tinsley could not hold back her sobs. She hiccuped as she struggled to let the words out.

She did not how to tell him once again of what had happened. The same episode kept repeating when she felt that things were finally falling back to their places.

"I...I was preg..."

"You were what??"

Kian interrupted her midway. He strode towards her and held onto her arms, straightening her up.

"You were what?? Fucking tell me, goddammit!!"

Kian shook her body and she muffled her sobs with her hands trying to speak it out to him. That was not how she had pictured to tell him.

"I...I was pregnant!"

And Kian just left her there and looked away from her. He did not know how to react to that.

She was pregnant...??? How could that be possible just out of blue?? He could not perceive it...he could not get it in him...

"How long?? How fucking long??"

He yelled when she was only crying her eyes out despite of him asking her. She hugged herself, out of fear from his outburst.

"Three to two weeks...I..."

"Last night...I had a cramp...bad ones...I...called you.."

Kian punched his fist on the table, shaking the items resting on it and making Tinsley stop speaking right away.

"So this is it huh?? You are going to stoop this low now??"

He spat at her. He was not ready to believe her. He would never believe that she had another miscarriage because he chose to help out Serena's child instead of staying back with her.

"So you are now going to blame this on me??"

Kian cruelly laughed and that was not what Tinsley wanted at all. She was nowhere blaming him.

It was all of a sudden. She was just narrating to him how it had happened...nowhere did she aim to blame it all on him.

"Because I chose to go with Serena over you, you are inventing ways to hurt me now??"

Kian kept accusing her and she did not know how to stop him and make him understand that no one was playing the blame game.

"You know what?? I m not even going to believe whatever the hell that is coming out of this month..."

He let out and was about to go away but she ran up to him and held him back, hugging his back, not wanting to let go of him.

She could tell...she could feel that he was trying to evade the feeling of hurt...the pain, the deep ache by disbelieving whatever the hell he could get out of him.

"You need to believe, my love..."

"Just let go of me!!"

He tried to pry her hands off of his body but she only tightened her hold around him.

"You need to let it sink in you..."

Kian pushed her away with a force that she stumbled backwards and somehow maintained her posture, holding onto the edge of the table.

"You are fucking going to pay for playing this dirty game with me!!"

Kian was beyond furious at that point. He already had a bad time of having the feeling that the daughter of Serena could be his...and he would not lie that for a while, he liked that thought.

Yet here his wife was here, narrating to him how she had a miscarry the same night he went out to help save someone else's child and they lost their once again.

He was not going to take it...take any of it. He knew that she was just bullshitting at this point out of jealousy.

"You are one selfish, obsessive woman and I m not going to tolerate this...this whatever game you are trying to play of making me feel guilty...a mistake that you want me to feel that I made by going with Serena which could have been stopped if I had stayed back....?"

Kian went on, not giving one chance to let her speak in between. He was not going to fall down to her game.

"You disgust me, right now!"

It was all he said and then left out of his study. Tinsley was a crying mess as she screamed his name out, asking him to come back to her.

She rubbed away her tears and ran after him. The maid, Alive saw the entire scene unfolding before her eyes.

Kian got inside the Audi and left. Tinsley took another Audi and followed him. She was not going to let him go all alone this time.

The rain kept showering as he sped away and she struggled to keep up with him.

When he took a turn to the street where Valeria Wilson lived. It made her cautious of why her husband who had cut ties with his aunt was doing, driving to her residency.

She stopped by the alley when Kian's Audi was let in through the front gate. When his Audi was in, she also grew courage up in her and drove in front of the place where she was held captive.

For a while, she thought that the guards might not let her in but when they allowed her by seeing her face, she was grateful.

She parked the car in the front yard, a few steps behind his and got inside the mansion.

"Why the hell would you call me again and go to my office, asking for me repeatedly??"

Kian questioned Valeria, who was very peacefully reading the newspaper over a cup of her second tea on a rainy morning.

She folded the newspaper back on the table and looked up to see her nephew. The one only nephew, she had never thought would ever set foot on her house again.

"You came??"

"You left me with no choice!"

Valeria stood up and clapped her hands asking the maids to leave them alone. The housekeeper left the hall and Tinsley who was hiding behind the door, got to the other side as the maid left.

"I heard Serena's daughter was unwell!"

"She was but she is fine now!"

Kian replied in monotone. He did not want to talk about that anymore. Yet everyone kept only asking that.

"She has grey eyes like yours!"

"She is not mine...Valeria!"

Kian remarked and Valeria nodded, acknowledging the fact. Tinsley enclosed her mouth with her palms, not wanting to let out any sound.

"She loves you...Serena! She is not over you, Kian!"

"Yet why does it even matter?? Why do you keep bringing this up?"

Kian implored. He was tired of how she kept pushing him towards Serena now when there was a time, she did not approve of Serena too at that time.

"It matters because I want you to let you know the truth...that she had never left...I did it. "

Valeria let out, shocking Kian. He was not expecting to hear anything close to that whatever she was going to say next.

"I paid her money to leave you because...she was getting in your way of career. After you both lost the child...I knew that she was not good for you...she would only pull you back to the darkness from where I lifted you up...I paid her a million to leave you!"
