The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 49: 49:Unfinished Revenge

While a joyous and jubilant atmosphere prevailed all around Evan and others, Migol and Henna were harassed by the media, and at the same time, painted as cruel, sinister beings.

From the beginning, they knew that they couldn't win the fight, so all they could do was divert it. They had planned to harm Evan and pin the blame on Suri, but who knew that the little beast would escape the disaster?

If only Evan had been harmed, they could have pinned all their blame on Suri. Alas...

To add further salt to their injuries, they were fined 2.5 million rupees. The initial punishment was two years of imprisonment, but they managed to stay out by paying a hefty fine.

Further, Suri demanded a public apology, threatening that if not, then she wouldn't stop pressing them further.

But for now, that wasn't the important or gravest matter.

Migol, standing near the window, looked back at his wife with a deep sigh.

Going by the usual routine, his wife would have already exploded with temper and started cursing.

For a stingy woman like her, losing a penny was enough to drive her crazy. But in this situation, she wasn't in a state to think about all that.

Henna was too shocked; her face turned pale after hearing what Evan said.

Swallowing hard, Henna asked in a trembling voice, "Migol, what if Evan knows everything we did behind? And if by chance he also finds out the truth about his parents and goes to search for them, then we…"

She didn't finish speaking, but Migol knew what she meant.

If Evan managed to reunite with his real parents, and they knew what would happen, their lives would be worse than death.

Even death would be mercy for them; after all, his parents weren't ordinary people.

Henna hesitated a bit, then took a deep breath and said, "Should we inform him?"

"What?" Migol screamed, jumping in horror.

"Are you out of your mind? Don't you remember that he told us not to appear before him??"

"But what can we do now? If Evan makes an appearance, his plans might get foiled. We should inform him and ask for help," Henna answered with a pout.

"We can also ask for some money...."

The veins on Migol's forehead bulged. He had always tried to control himself and be patient with this bitchy woman, but this time he just couldn't.

"For fuck's sake. Are you still worried about the fucking money? Just how much money do you want, bitch? We already have millions, how much more do you want?"

"What? Did you just call me bitch, you old geezer…?" Henna immediately threw a flower vase at Migol, who narrowly avoided it.

"You are a crazy bitch..."

"You called me that again...I am gonna fight to the death!"

The two fought wildly, while Migol slapped Henna, she scratched Migol's face.

After a brief domestic war, the two finally settled down.

"I will call, "Migol answered reluctantly, startling Henna.

Looking at Henna, Migol smiled bitterly, "We don't have any other option. It's better to inform him."

After making up his mind, he pulled out his smartphone and searched for the name.

Henna noticed Migol's trembling hands, in fact, her heart was also filled with fear.

"Calm down, Migol, you will make it worse."

"Hmm!" Nodding, Migol finally dialed the number.

Just then, the doorbell rang…

Henna saw Migol focusing on the call and seemed to have not heard the knock, so she went ahead and opened the door. But just as she did, a pair of hands grabbed her neck before pulling her and closing her lips to silence her.

Noticing the disturbance, Migol jumped up and screamed.

"Henna!"

[There is no need to scream.]

Miguel's body froze as he heard the voice on the call. Soon, he saw six men barge in. Panicked, Migol looked around for an escape.

With no way out, he decided to jump out of the window.

He knew he had stepped into a landmine and needed to run if he wanted to stay alive. Alas, the intruders were clearly in a league of their own.

In just a moment, with lightning-fast movements, a man pounced on Migol, subjugating him in no time.

Then, a man took out a phone and placed it against Migol's ears.

[I told you to keep him well and lay low, but it seems either my instructions were unclear or you seem to have developed some guts to abuse the Heir..]

"No. I am innocent…It's Henna…This bitch abused him…I have treated him like my own child," Migol shouted in fear.

[You are worthless. You can't even handle a simple matter. Now that he knows you aren't his parents, he will surely search for his real ones.]

A brief pause ensued…

[I have a pact that prevents me from harming my family members, but that doesn't mean you will be safe...]

"NOOOOO! Please…listen to me…give me a chance….please, give me one more chance..." Migol screamed and looked for Henna, his eyes widening as he saw her condition.

Her body was crooked and she curled like a ball, trembling in fright.

[There isn't any need for you to exist anymore…]

Those simple words sealed Migol's fate, who screamed in agony.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Celina went back due to a heavy workload, while Evan stayed behind to finish some leftover tasks.

In the meantime, he invested in a few stocks.

He bought shares of Dani Green Energy, which had been plummeting after being hit by Hisenburg's short selling, resulting in a significant loss. However, Evan knew that it would rebound with the government's backing and new tender orders.

After this, he proceeded to meet with another lawyer. Abhijeet had arranged for a specialist in the field.

As Evan entered, his gaze swept across the sleek, modern office space and found himself across Mr. Patel, a seasoned lawyer with a great deal of experience in the particular field.

With a solemn look, Evan scanned through the stack of legal documents placed between him and Mr. Patel.

"Mr. Patel," Evan began, his voice tinged with excitement, "I'm eager to finalize the documents to establish an IT software company."

A thoughtful smile curved Patel's lips. "First things first, Evan," he replied, "we must establish your company's legal structure."

Evan nodded eagerly, his pen poised over a blank page. "Private Limited, LLP... which would you recommend?"

Mr. Patel's eyes glinted with appreciation for Evan's enthusiasm. "For your aspirations, a private limited company would be the most suitable choice. It offers flexibility and limited liability, which are crucial factors in the tech industry."

Evan scribbled notes feverishly, his mind racing with possibilities. "What documents do we need for registration?"

The lawyer reached for a stack of papers, each one exuding the weight of legal formality. As he spoke, his gestures punctuated by the rustle of paper, he listed, "Memorandum and Articles of Association, Director's Identification Number (DIN), Digital Signature Certificates (DSC), and proof of address for your registered office."

Evan nodded, absorbing the information with determined focus. "I'll gather those without delay," he promised.

Their conversation seamlessly shifted to the intricacies of GST registration, a necessary step in navigating the complex web of taxation.

"We'll handle that once your turnover exceeds the threshold limit," Mr. Patel assured him, his expression reassuring.

Evan breathed a sigh of relief, thankful for Patel's help. "And what about intellectual property rights?"

A gleam of appreciation shone in Mr. Patel's eyes. "Ah, safeguarding your creations is paramount," he affirmed. "We'll ensure that your software code is protected by registering the copyrights and your company name and logo along with the trademarks."

Grateful for the guidance, Evan extended his hand. "Thank you, Mr. Patel."

Days later, Evan found himself in front of a computer screen, his fingers dancing across the keyboard as he meticulously prepared the application for a patent.

With meticulous care, Evan filled out the patent application, detailing the unique features and functionalities of CodeZipper. As he clicked the 'submit' button, a surge of pride washed over him.

As the confirmation message flashed on the screen, Evan couldn't help but smile.

The journey was far from over, but with each step forward, he was one step closer to realizing his vision of building an IT software empire.
