However, before she could even get both legs off, Mo Han suddenly pulled her back, resting one hand onto the back of his head and leaning forward, having their lips meet each other in the air.

"Mm!" An Luxia exclaimed in surprise as the taste of medicine immediately entered her mouth. Of course, he did not care as he took this opportunity to push his tongue into her mouth, removing the hand from her head as she replaced it onto her waist.

The kiss lasted for so long that An Luxia had run out of energy and was on a shortage of breath as she finally escaped from him, "You don't seem injured at all!"

Mo Han grinned and murmured softly, "I am!"

An Luxia frowned as she wiped her lips with her hand, "It tastes of medicine!"

Mo Han smiled and moved back towards his spot on the bed, "Go put away the medical kit and then come sleep."

An Luxia obediently put the medical kit away and saw that Mo Han was going to go turn off the lights, so she lifted up the blanket and crawled in. 

The room turned pitch black and An Luxia thought they were going to go to sleep after a very tiring evening, but she was wrong.

Suddenly, a strong weight landed on top of her as Mo Han pushed her down onto the bed, his face entering An Luxia's vision in the darkness as a sly grin crept up his lips, "It's time for your punishment."

The next few days, Li Yilan did not go to school and had told the teachers that she was not feeling well as an excuse, although everyone at school knew the true reason for why she did not attend class.

An Luxia went to school like normal, still receiving looks from people, but not caring. Many people looked at her pitifully, which she seemed to dislike even more than the hateful glances they used to give her. She had posted it not for pity, but to stop unnecessary drama.

It seemed to work better than she had expected. A few people even came up and apologized to her for misunderstanding her, all which she brushed off lightly.

An Luxia went to class normally, paying attention and studying at home with Mo Han while he was working since there were some tests coming up.

Li Yilan still did not show up, and An Luxia was not sure if Li Yilan went to the bar in these few days, doing the shameless job she chose to pick up.

Of course, An Luxia did not know that her husband had burned down the bar.

After about a week of going to school and taking classes, there was an announcement through the school forum.

An Luxia was seated on the couch next to Mo Han, leaning her back against Mo Han comfortably as they both worked on their laptops. She opened up the school forum to take a break after finishing up her assignment and saw the pinned post.

'School Dance Announcement!

Good evening, students. The annual Winter Dance party is coming up in a few days! It will take place this Friday, starting at 7 P.M. all the way until 12 P.M. in the Grand Hall of the University, which will be closed on Thursday and Friday to set up and prepare for the dance. There will be snacks available at the party, and the annual Snow Queen competition will also take place at the end of the party. See you all there!'

An Luxia usually did not attend these dances since she thought they were quite a waste of time and did not want to go with a random male student. A lot of boys asked her but she usually rejected all of them. If she had to go, she went with Yu Xinyi, who would drag her along.

However, this time was different.

She immediately turned around, patting Mo Han excitedly on the shoulder, "Hanhan! Hanhan!"

Mo Han looked up from his laptop, removing his glasses as he turned to her, "Yes?"

"My school has a winter dance party on Friday! I want to go!" An Luxia blinked her eyes several times, smiling sweetly.

Mo Han obviously could understand the underlying meaning to her statement, but he was not going to make it easy for her. He grinned and replied, "Sure, you can go."

Then, he put on his glasses again as he pretended to return to his work, but his focus was not on the document in front of him. An Luxia pursed her lips out unhappily, her eyes looking down as she thought for a few seconds before lifting her hand up, tugging softly at Mo Han's sleeve, "Little Hanhan, you will go with me, right?"

Mo Han continued to type, raising one eyebrow as a faint smile appeared on his face, "Is that the right way to ask your husband on a date?"

An Luxia's lips twitched slightly as she realized that Mo Han was purposely making it difficult for her! Hmph! She scoffed as she immediately dropped his sleeve, turned around, and moved to the edge of the couch as she said with a cheerful voice, "It's okay then! I can always go to school tomorrow and search for a random dude in one of my classes and ask him to the dance. I am sure he would happily agree right away!"

At once, there was a slam as Mo Han shut his laptop forcefully, causing An Luxia to flinch. He removed his glasses, standing up to move over to An Luxia, leaning forward as he rested his hand onto the backrest of the couch next to An Luxia, "Don't you dare!"

An Luxia didn't back off as she leaned forward, drawing in her distance with him, "Why wouldn't I dare? You didn't say you would go with me!"

The room fell into silence as Mo Han glared into her eyes and she did not break eye contact either. After several seconds, Mo Han finally mumbled, "I'll go with you."

Two chapters today and an announcement in both chapters!

First, I will be going on a short three-day vacation starting tomorrow (yayy!!) to celebrate the end of summer break (nooo!!!) and my birthday hehehe (Shameless author alert!!) Send those precious power stones, birthday gifts, and reviews my way hehehe (thank you sending you my love!)
