The Wife of Hades

The room fell into silence as Mo Han glared into her eyes and she did not break eye contact either. After several seconds, Mo Han finally mumbled, "I'll go with you."

An Luxia's face broke into a pleased smile as she lifted one arm up, patting Mo Han on the head like a puppy, "That's right, little Hanhan."

Mo Han's lips twitched slightly as he realized just how low his position was in this household. An Luxia could say anything and he would literally agree right away! This was not okay!

He suddenly bent down, closing her laptop and throwing it aside before lifting her up in his arms, carrying her out of the room with large and fast strides.

An Luxia's eyes widened as she lightly hit him on the chest, "What are you doing? Let me down!"

"Did you think you wouldn't have to compensate me for going to the dance with you?" Before long, they were inside their bedroom as Mo Han kicked the door shut, not bothering to lock it.

An Luxia excitedly returned home on Friday after her only class in the afternoon and got ready for the dance. It was only 6 P.M. but the sky outside was dark already as it reached winter time. 

Mo Han entered the room and saw her holding the white dress that she had bought a few days ago for the winter dance party and the Snow Queen contest.

An Luxia also noticed him and quickly pulled him into the closet, "Go change into the white suit I picked for you! We will be the Snow Queen and King!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Mo Han nodded his head and obediently went to go pick up the white suit that An Luxia had picked, looking at it once before putting it back down and beginning to unbutton the current suit he was wearing.

An Luxia turned around to admire her beauty in the mirror and she looked down at the white and blue dress she was wearing, deciding that she would wear this one to the dance. She reached behind to zip up the dress but couldn't reach it.

She had always been able to zip up dresses herself, so she reached farther. She could feel the zipper against her skin already, but she just couldn't grab ahold of it.

Suddenly, another hand grabbed onto it and easily pulled it up. There was only one other person in the room, so An Luxia obviously knew who it was.

"Thank you, Hanhan." She turned around and her eyes widened immediately from what she saw. It was indeed Mo Han, but. . . but he was naked! Half naked to be exact!

An Luxia immediately looked down and saw that he was holding the shirt of the new suit in his hand, "Why aren't you wearing anything?"

"I'm changing," Mo Han replied simply, putting on the shirt and standing right next to An Luxia to look in the mirror as he put on the suit.

An Luxia glanced at Mo Han, eyeing his strong chest muscles and defined abs. They ate the same meals every day, and she did not see him exercise often, so how come he was still in such good shape?

An Luxia pursed her lips out and turned around, grabbing the necklace and earrings she was going to wear before walking out of the closet, "I'm going to go do my makeup."

Half an hour later, they were on their way to the school. The car stopped at the front driveway of the school, and there were several cars in front of them in a line, all waiting to reach the center to get off.

An Luxia and Mo Han sat patiently, waiting for the cars to slowly drop off the people and then leave one by one. The driveway was abnormally crowded today since everyone was here for the dance, and everyone who came off were all dressed up.

The people came in pairs since the dances usually "required" for people to have a partner. There really wasn't this requirement, but it would be embarrassing to arrive alone, which is also why An Luxia rarely went to the dances. When she did, her partner was Yu Xinyi.

The cars in front of them finally left and when their black car reached the front of the driveway, the driver came off to help open the door for An Luxia and Mo Han.

When they got off, everyone that had already gotten off and the people behind them turned around to look at the breathtaking couple. They easily recognized An Luxia, but no one knew who the man next to her was.

"An Luxia! Look! It's An Luxia! Her dress looks so pretty. . ."

"Ah, I tried so hard to prepare for the Snow Queen competition this time, but it seems like there is still no hope."

"Ch, are you stupid?! Of course there is no hope. I don't even bother to try."

"But who is that man next to her? Ah, he looks so handsome!!"

"I don't know. . . Does he go to our school? I don't recognize him. That's not her brother either. Is he maybe -"

"Oh!!" One of the girls suddenly screamed, "I know him! He is the one in the picture that was taken in the cafeteria! Remember! He seems to be An Luxia's boyfriend!"

There were a few seconds of silence, "Oh!! I remember! Yes, it's him. Wait, let me check."

An Luxia could hear some of the talking going on, but she didn't care as she walked hand in hand with Mo Han into the large hall where the dance would take place.

Along the road, everyone turned to look at them in awe, and this was exactly the reaction An Luxia had expected, but she did not like it. She did not like all the stares and looks Mo Han was attracting!

These girls! How dare they lay their eyes on her man?! An Luxia frowned as she dug her nails into Mo Han's suit. He quickly noticed and saw An Luxia's cute jealous expression. At the same time, he was also getting jealous at all the guys turning to look at An Luxia. Maybe he should actually get her to drop out of school.

It was too dangerous.

hello readers ~

My school is starting on Wednesday, August 11th (ToT nooooo!!!!!!) and we are forced to go back to school. My school ends quite late in the afternoon so I probably won't have as much time to write anymore.

I started writing during quarantine and it has been such an amazing journey! I always look forward to writing every day, and I am certainly not looking forward to writing homework instead of writing my beloved novels.

I don't know if I will be able to keep up with daily uploads once school gets busy, but I will certainly do my best to write whenever I can! I would really appreciate all of your support :) Thank you guys very much!
