After the dating scandal broke up, Xia Yu no longer showed up at the hospital to work. She did not want the fans or the media to harass her or her colleague.

That evening, Xia Yu watched as Brother Xiang leave Huo Yun Chen's studio and nodded at him. Seeing the serious look on his face made her worry if Huo Yun Chen would be in deep trouble because of her.

Huo Yun Chen's team often came to the apartment to discuss with him but Xia Yu was unaware of what they were discussing. Huo Yun Chen only told her that they were making a plan to release his new album soon.

Brother Xiang did not stay for a long time. Huo Yun Chen sent his manager to the door and watched him leave.

When Huo Yun Chen turned around, his gaze met with Xia Yu's worried eyes.

The look in his eyes softened. Huo Yun Chen walked over to Xia Yu and pinched at her cheek. "What are you thinking about?"

"Is everything alright?" Xia Yu asked. Although Huo Yun Chen had assured her repeatedly, Xia Yu was not very convinced, especially after watching his team coming and going to discuss their matters.

Occasionally, Xia Yu would look on the internet and that would make her distressed.

"Didn't I tell you not to worry?" Huo Yun Chen said. He wrapped his arms around Xia Yu's body and pecked at the space between her brow.

Feeling the warmth from her body and inhaling her scent made him feel more at ease.

Huo Yun Chen would get scared when he thought of the day that Xia Yu had almost left. It made him realize that he liked her more than he thought.

He could not bear to lose her.

"How can I not worry? You have worked hard for years to get to where you are now." Xia Yu lowered her head. "I don't want to be the reason for your career to plummeted."

"You're thinking too much." Huo Yun Chen chuckled. "Xia Yu, you only have to remember that in this industry, it would be difficult to stay on top forever. Even without this dating news, there will be a lot of fresh faces debuting and new talent discovered. It was inevitable for me to lose and gain some fans."

Xia Yu heaved a sigh. She knew that his words made sense but she still could not stop worrying.

She hoped to see him continue singing on stage and shining brightly.

Huo Yun Chen hugged the person in his arms while caressing her back to soothe her worry. "This weekend, how about going to that hot spring that I have mentioned earlier? It will be a good chance for both of us to relax."

"What about your work? Aren't you busy preparing for your next album?"

"Brother Xiang let me have my vacation for a few days," Huo Yun Chen said. "After what happened, we agreed to push back the album."

Her eyes widened in surprise. Xia Yu had not thought that their dating news would cause a delay on his album. "It's that bad?"

"It's not a bad thing." Huo Yun Chen laughed. "Just that, we are making a lot of preparation to release the album." His brow rose. "Don't you trust me?"

Xia Yu stared at him for a while. "Well, I trust you."

Seeing the worry in her eyes gradually disappeared made him feel more at ease.

"Then, we'll go to that hot spring?"

Xia Yu nodded.
