"Xia Yu, how does it feel? Walking on the red carpet?" Song Xing Xing asked as she met her friend in the hall.

"It was nerve-wracking." Xia Yu admitted. Her heart raced as she thought about walking on the red carpet with Huo Yun Chen earlier. There were too many people watching her and it was making her anxious.

Song Xing Xing laughed. She turned to Huo Yun Chen and smiled. "I heard that you will be performing later today. Huo Yun Chen, work hard!"

Huo Yun Chen scratched the tip of his nose and smiled. "Thank you." He glanced at his girlfriend and spoke, "Mrs. Lu, I have to count on you to look after my girlfriend."

"Mmm... You don't have to worry about it. I'll accompany Xia Yu for you."

At the side, Lu Xun watched his wife hide the slight unhappiness in his heart. He had thought that he could be alone with his wife. But his wife had offered to look after someone else's girlfriend.

It was a rare occasion for him to be alone with his wife after the twin came out. Although he loved the twins dearly, he wanted to be with his wife even more.

After exchanging a few words, Huo Yun Chen went to look for the organizer to discuss his performance later.

Xia Yu went with Song Xing Xing and her husband to seat at the VVIP section, where there were many big bosses in the industry.

Soon, the award began. The host stood at the center of the stage and spoke.

This was the first time that Xia Yu had joined such an occasion. She couldn't help but marvel at everything she see.

Unexpectedly, Huo Yun Chen would appear on the stage as part of the opening act. The song was very upbeat and it quickly livened up the atmosphere.

Each time that the cameraman pointed in Huo Yun Chen's direction, the corner of her lips would tilt up and her heartbeat accelerated.

There were a lot of stars in the hall but in Xia Yu's opinion, her boyfriend was still the brightest and the best-looking one.

The host introduced a few presenters to the stage to announce the best singer award.

Xia Yu sat up straight and looked at the screen in anticipation. Soon, the presenter announced the nominees and their faces appeared on the screen. As soon as Huo Yun Chen's face appeared on the screen, Xia Yu could feel an excitement in her heart.

Subconsciously, Xia Yu tightened her hands into fists. Her heartbeat drummed crazily as waited for the presenter to announce the winner. Now that the person who was nominated was her boyfriend, Xia Yu wanted Huo Yun Chen to win this award a little bit more.

At this time, there was nothing else that she could see other than Huo Yun Chen.

The presenter unfolded the card in his hand and smiled at the screen. "And the winner is... Huo Yun Chen!"

Xia Yu exhaled a long breath as she clapped along with everyone else. Seeing Huo Yun Chen appear on the stage made her heartbeat accelerate.

She wanted to stand up and fangirl over this man but considering where she was, it was not very convenient.

Xia Yu continued to look at the screen as Huo Yun Chen stood on the stage to give his speech and made a long list of people that he wanted to thank.

Her cheek turned red towards the end of his speech, as Huo Yun Chen had mentioned her name.

"Xia Yu, congratulations."

Her lips turned into a shy smile as she looked at Song Xing Xing. "Why are you congratulating me?"

"Huo Yun Chen won this award. Of course, I will have to congratulate you."

"Xing Xing, stop teasing me."

The event continued and a few performers appeared on the stage.

Xia Yu took out her phone to check on the time.

It was expected that the album of the year award would present towards the end.

After waiting for a long time, a presenter went up the stage again to announce the winner of this award.

Xia Yu knew how much Huo Yun Chen has been working hard on his latest album. She wanted him to win this award as much as he did.

The list of the nominees came out. Xi Yu stared at Huo Yun Chen's face on the screen and prayed that he would win this award as well.

The presenter looked up and smiled brightly. "And the winner of the album of the year is..." The camera moved to the nominees. "Huo Yun Chen's Happiness."

A loud cheering could be heard in the hall. The people who sat around Huo Yun Chen started to congratulate him for his winning. Huo Yun Chen walked over to the stage with his teams following him.

This album was the fruit of the labor of several people and Huo Yun Chen wanted them to go on the stage together.

After receiving the flower and the trophy, Huo Yun Chen and his team walked to the center to give their acceptance speech.

He held the microphone again and smiled roguishly at the camera.

Xia Yu's heart started to palpate again when she saw the smile. She couldn't help thinking of how handsome he was on the stage at this time.

"First of all, I would like to thank the judges for the award." He lowered his gaze to look at the trophy. "A lot of people have been working hard to produce this album. For that, I would like to thank my team. To President Lu and NEXT Entertainment for believing in me. My parents, my friends, and my precious fans. Most of all, I would like to thank my girlfriend, Xia Yu who has been my inspiration for this album. Thank you."

Her eyes stung as she heard his words.. Huo Yun Chen continued to give his speech and thank several other people but her mind kept on replaying the part where he had spoken her name.
