The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

On Sam's and Zhenyi's side. 

Zhenyi threw a bored look at Chen Yuling. "If you know that you shouldn't utter nonsense, then who the hell is asking you to?"

Chen Yuling was taken back by Zhenyi's rude retort. However, she wasn't the one to back down easily. "So, this is the real Mrs. Long. You have many faces. Just how much will you hide from your husband and for how long? One day he will see what you're in reality underneath this skin." 

Zhenyi innocently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Today, her waist-length hair was tied in a ponytail. She was dressed casually too. Not in the way, she is usually dressed but she was looking pretty. Normally, she would dress to kill but today, she was dressed to live. 

She gave what seemed like a mischievous smile to Chen Yuling and said, " He sees every night what's underneath these clothes. So, what's the worst that could happen if one day he ends up seeing what's underneath my skin?" 

Behind Zhenyi, Sam ended up coughing and before her, she saw Chen Yuling's eyes turning red. 

"You're ridiculous," Chen Yuling spat out. 

"I know that I'm ridiculously amazing," Zhenyi said with a head nod. "You need not remind me again and again." 

Chen Yuling opened her mouth to retort, but Zhenyi didn't give her a moment...

"But you see that's not your fault. Every time I look at your pretty and so-called perfect face. I remember how my husband thinks you're not worthy of his glance," Zhenyi said with a shrug. " I don't wanna admit it but every time I see your infuriated face my heart soothes on its own."

 Zhenyi tsked her. "You're such a failure, Chen Yuling. You can't even bind down a single guy. Not like you're worthy, but still. There is a thing called a fluke. But you're so useless that you can't even use my mother-in-law's affection in your favor." 

"I will destroy you," Chen Yuling said in burning hatred. 

Zhenyi widened her eyes and feigned as if she was so scared of her. "Oh, I'm so scared, Chen Yuling. What would you do? Hire a sniper to shoot me? Ah, don't kill me. "

 Chen Yuling looked at her acting scared with wide eyes. Everyone was looking at her as if she was the villainess. 

Feeling a hand on her shoulder, she looked up to see her brother looking at her with a frown. 

"Are you done? Should we leave now?" Chen Zihang asked. "Mom said that you met your acquaintance--" 

"Not an acquaintance. Just a shameless woman," Chen Yuling said. She turned to Sam and added, "She is a married woman, does she tell you?" 

Chen Zihang's eyes ran from her sister's face to Zhenyi and then stopped at Sam. 

"M-Mr. Q-Qin?" He uttered. 

"You know him?" Chen Yuling asked her brother with a frown. 

"He is Aria's brother. Miss Xin and Qin siblings are practically raised as siblings," Chen Zihang said and the color of Chen Yuling's face changed. 

"Oh, Sam, that's the guy who cheated on Aria," Zhenyi nonchalantly added. "Since we are good citizens, he won't beat him here." 

Chen Zihang held his sister's hand. "Mom is calling us. We should leave. It was nice meeting you, Miss Xin, and Mr. Qin." 

"Oh, but it wasn't for us. We even wish that we never meet your sister again." This sentence was spoken by Zhenyi.

Both Sam and Zhenyi end up laughing as they say inside the car. She didn't know face slapping with white lotus merely with some words was so satisfying. Oh, she was certainly going to do it again with Chen Yuling. 

At the same time, Zhenyi's work phone flashed with a message.

"Sam, let's pay a little visit to my husband first," Zhenyi spoke and Sam started the car.

Zhenyi was about to insert the access card when Gu Tian's surprised voice was heard. 

"Madam?" 

Zhenyi turned to find Gu Tian entering the exclusive elevator to Long Jie's office with what looked like packed lunch in his hands.

"It's nice to see you, Madam." He quickly gathered his wits and greeted her while she just nodded in reply.

They entered the elevator and none of them spoke until they heard the ding. 

"Mr. Gu, my husband is in the office or in a meeting?' 

"It's lunchtime, Madam. Mr. Long is most certainly in his office," Gu Tian informed her with a smile. "That's the president's lunch. Would rather you like to bring it to his office yourself? 

Zhenyi furrowed her brows. "Why? Does he not pay you well? If he doesn't, you can always resign. Apparently, I have an empty assistant post. You can always apply." 

Gu Tian's smile faltered. Did he do something he shouldn't have? Mostly, women loved making their husbands happy. He was just trying to give a chance to the President's wife to show her affection to her husband.

"No, Mrs. Long, I'm paid quite well here. I have no complaints," Gu Tian quickly said and showed her the way to the office. 

Zhenyi entered first as Gu Tian assumed to give some alone time to both of them. As she opened the door, her gaze fell on Long Jie who was reviewing some files. 

Someone rightly said men immersed in work look extra sexy. 

Long Jie heard someone approaching but didn't find anything odd so he didn't look up. When Zhenyi took a seat in front of him, he saw her. 

Long Jie blinked twice to check if he was daydreaming about her again. Realizing that it was indeed a dream again, he went back to work with a sigh. 

On the other hand, Zhenyi was rendered speechless. 

"Did you just ignore me?" Zhenyi asked him with a scowl. 

Long Jie was surprised to hear her voice. He poked his finger at her forehead and when she didn't disappear, he stood up immediately. 

"You're for real?" 

Zhenyi scoffed. "You're getting weird day by day." 

"Blame it on my wife," Long Ji said with a shrug.
